It’s one of those decisions where the owner thinks they should be doing better even though there are probably 6-10 clubs that have either PL parachute money etc.  So the manager gets the boot.

I was told repeatedly last season that you must be a great manager with a win rate that high.

I once went 52 games unbeaten, 45 of those being wins. Win rate is all relevant to who you're coaching and what they're up against.

The only time context was allowed is if you're using COVID as a reason for relegation.

Fun fact: DM actually got more PPG when in hospital than when he was on the touchline that season.
