Sad sad news. I was only thinking of Bricat the other day as I went past The Shakespeare pub in town. I was in there probably 3 or 4 years ago and recognised him from his ID pic on here and went and asked if he was Bricat. We had an hour and a couple of pints together - and then come to think of it half a 12 percenter he recommended ! Lovely fella and knew he had been struggling with his health. Getting old is crap isn't it.

If in the Championship would offer deals to Bannan, Bernard, Iorfa, Vaulks and maybe Palmer. For League One would add Byers and Johnson to the list. Undecided on Dawson but would be as number two. Brennan, Gregory, James, Wilks, Windass and Bakinson to be released regardless of Division and Johnson and Byers if we stay in Championship. I thought Bambo was on loan. So we need to endure him another year ?

Just rewatched the Stoke goal from yesterday. So many things wrong tactically with it and absolutely gutting. Palmer, Ihiekwe, Vaulks and possibly Beadle all culpable.

I don't condone booing or sarcastic cheering towards Beadle as generally think he has the ability to play from the back and will be under instructions to do so. Conversely would not be averse to anyone booing the god awful performances of Iorfa, Diaby, Ihiekwe and Famewo in that first half. Having Professional Footballers being unable to control or pass the strange white thing 10 yards is uncomprehendable.

Is Windass available yet ? We have missed him and be great to see him back in the side at some point.

Both Stoke and Blackburn will have had crappy journeys back from Swansea and Bristol respectively before another away game on the Saturday. Not ideal for either. Blackburn are the early kick off too at Leeds.

He would have been better at Centre Back instead of Diaby if we were hell bent on passing it around the defence. I use the term passing loosely.
