  1. England kits for this summer onwards…. The ‘authentic’ version is £124.99 for adults.. £119.99 for kids. The replica is £84.99 adults and £64.99 kids.
  2. So, did I see that Forest’s overspend by almost double what Everton did…. Yet it’s 4points?
  3. Wages are according to Capology. wtf is capology
  4. I wasn’t going to watch that FA Cup game yesterday but glad I did. It was fantastic viewing, and fitting of a quarter final. Seeing the scousers bottle it was amusing to say the least, but still enjoying a Man Ure win is difficult to say the least.
  5. I’ve held back off posting following the game, deliberately as it just annoyed me so much. While I didn’t expect much from it, a draw would have been nice, it was just the manner and attitude of some of the team. Now before I ‘go on’, it’s not all gone to hell, I’m not saying we’re relegated and we’ve no chance. Because that would be absurd. Our destiny is in our hands still and we’ve bounced back massively from setbacks before in recent months. What really got to me is how for so much of the game after they opened the scoring was how we were on our heels.l, waiting for things to happen, trying to react (or not even bothering in some cases) to when they had possession. The ones that really got to me, were the two goals by their sub, that lad from Wimbledon who’s name escapes me right now. His first, while Beadle maybe could have done better and not palmed it in the direction he did, the ‘reaction’ from the whole defence was laughable. Stood, watching. Then the last one, Bernard. Watch him. Stands still as their lad 8 yards out just moseys past him without as much as an ounce of effort, then he’s there 5 yards out waiting to receive a pull back from 6 yards away. Our defence are again like statues. Game over or not at that point, that was horrific defending. Fair play for DR coming out and taking responsibility for things, on how he setup, and it felt quite like the Saints (a) game where we went for it and got burned, badly. There’s something admirable about trying to take the game to the opposition, but, there’s no disgrace in being a little more pragmatic in a game like that either. DR is learning, and he’s still 100% right for the job IMO, yet it’s still right to have criticisms about his decisions too. As people have said. 8 cup finals now. Home games are so vital to our fortunes, and if feels like we have to bounce back against Swansea. We need a reaction, like the one we got post Huddersfield, and the positive is, we can.
  6. He's done a fantastic job at the Sky Blues, there's no doubt. But my god is he a bitter little man.
  7. I'd seen him listed on the same squad list as Bailey, but that must have changed now!
  8. I’ve not seen the article but there was something on Twitter earlier that the bloke from the Mail who started the faux outrage has doubled down on things…
  9. Well, it made a lasting impression. Which is fine. Suppose it takes the focus away from your ‘vibe’…
  10. James Beadle / Bailey Cadamarteri - England U19s. Ian Poveda - Columbia Ike Ugbo - Canada Di'Shon Bernard - Jamaica Joey Phuthi - Zimbabwe Pierce Charles - Northern Ireland U21 Also..... Bailey Cadamateri was called up to play for Jamaica, but apparently his preferred choice for now is England U19. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2024/march/owls-on-the-international-stage/
  11. Fancy being your age and using the word 'vibe'.... 😁
  12. Head to head v Ipswich Town We've both won 21 games, and there have been 16 draws between the sides. Interestingly, there's not been a goalless game between us since 2009, and we've only failed to score on 3 occasions in the last 21 games against them. Our last 5 results down in the farmer's back yard. April 2017 - We won 1-0, Kieran Lee with the winner with 13 mins left. November 2017 - 2-2 Draw, we came from behind twice, Hooper from the spot, then Nuhiu with a last minute leveller. Feb 2019 - 1-0 win, Lucas Joao, last minute winner. Sept 2021 - 1-1 Draw. Dennis Adeniran looked to have netted us all three points before Conor Chaplin equalised in the last minute. Feb 2023 - 2-2 Draw. Smith, Byers put us two up, Broadhead pulled one back just before half time, Leif Davis levelled 8 mins into the second half.
  13. There's one on Twitter who was constantly at me on the OO twitter account last season after that game at their place, I just ended up muting him the sad fucker. He probably carries on now trying to get a nibble, but I just don't see it.

  16. The people on the original fans forums were asked to go, as they were chosen from a wide range of supporters groups/websites. As I was one of the original group of around 30/40 people that was invited. Over time, more people were invited, people (including me) were given the chance to bring someone along, and most did. I had a very frank conversation with DC about the ticket pricing when he brought in about 8 categories IIRC, and the media had a field day with it. He spoke about 'flexibility' in pricing, and it not meaning that the top whack of £52 IIRC would unlikely be used, but I said if you put it out there, then the media will jump on it and say that's what we are going to charge. To be fair to DC we never did use that price bracket, but it was a stick that was used very frequently to beat him with. Yet despite me covering things on here, reps from OT putting things out on there, and various other places, they always seemingly decended into farce, as while there was a smattering of new questions there was always old ground being covered. Then there were questions about tactics, player selection, and even players numbers.. So, what was the point? The current advisory groups as Ty alluded to earlier, are ones which are mandated on clubs now. DC and the club brought them into the club a LONG TIME before they were mandatory. But it didn't really help. So it's easy to see now why people see them as just a tick box exercise. The club tried to make them more informative, give the fans more of a voice, but when the effectiveness of them was diluted, by stupid, and very often repeated questions by newcomers. That's not DC's fault.
  17. For those who can’t see the above as you don’t do Twitter or have a adblockery thing…. Heres what it says. Licensing officers say overcrowding ahead of a Sheffield Wednesday match was a 'near miss'. Newcastle supporters complained about the situation in the Leppings Lane end before their FA Cup match in January 2023. Better stewarding and CCTV have been recommended.
  18. West Ham having a cracking start to their game tonight. Currently 2-1 now on aggregate after being 0-1 after first leg
