Phil Neville has a 43% win rate over his career, 54% in his job before Miami.

Most of that win rate comes from his time with the England Women's team. Bob, who coaches Ecclesfield u14s, would have had a similar percentage with the squad he had.

I've been 'privileged' to watch a couple of Neville's England coaching sessions and I've seen better sessions from Tony Pulis.

I'm well aware.

I was also told repeatedly last season that none of that matters, only win rate.

I once went 52 games unbeaten, 45 of those being wins. Win rate is all relevant to who you're coaching and what they're up against.

Not when it came to DM.

The only time context was allowed is if you're using COVID as a reason for relegation.

Fun fact: DM actually got more PPG when in hospital than when he was on the touchline that season.

Ashley Westwood.

The one we had alongside Danny Maddix in that period…..

Is now, the manager of the Afghanistan national team.

What's him and his subservient wife going to do in the evening? Apparently there's a problem with a telly ban out there.

I honestly think Warne was the plan, that they thought sooner or later he'd be sacked and they could "bring him home" cos they really don't seem to have any other plans.

Warne must be on borrowed time but as we know League 1 for bigger clubs isn't a cakewalk.

Stewart had to act after that 5 nowt

I think this answers it…

"He is a dynamic young coach with significant international experience. We agreed on the objectives for this season, as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the team.

"Overall, the process went smoothly and we can start preparing for the important weeks ahead.

"Xisco and his two colleagues will arrive in Dunaszerdahely tomorrow accompanied by their agents, after which their contracts with our club can be signed.

"Xisco will take over the management of the team from Tuesday.”

I’ve just seen that.

Their owner / chairman must be nuts.

I just had to do a bit of research. Looks like they finished 2nd in the top league last season, the Nike League. Stadium holds 12,700. Hospitality gold package is 120 euros and the silver is 80. Club is heavily supported by the Hungarian minority in Slovakia.

Looks like he's fell on his feet and will be probably at a level that suits him. I hope he is anyway, hope he's successful. Our job,in retrospect I thought was just a bit too big for him considering the expectations, not having a pot to piss in and the rebuild job required.

Graham Potter has turned down the Sweden national team job. He's cited he wants to return to club management but it's more likely the Swedes couldn't match the payoff payments he's still receiving from Chelsea.

I've always thought he'd be the man the FA turn to once Southgate leaves so could enjoy his payoff and wait, risks being left behind mind you.

Toytown rumours.

The Cowleys have said no, as they have with every job they've been linked with. Chesterfield have denied an approach to speak to Paul Cook. Nathan Jones wants the job but hasn't been interviewed. Leam Richardson is the new favourite.

They are all a bit tetchy them Blades.

I have called out that the reason why they are in this mess is a combination of the ten bob prince and Wilder… they don’t like that. I have to keep reminding them that he spent 150 million on some right shit, and managed to amass a 80 million quid wage bill.

They don't realise how close they were to going in to the brown stuff had Heckingbottom not got them up.
