Signing players with similar histories, and then fans giving them a “free pass”. Because the fan base has largely (entirely?) kept quiet on those issues before I don’t think that should stop people from making their feelings known on it now.

Think I’ve read before that Sky can insist on it being on with five(?) weeks notice, anything less than that and the clubs need to agree; but the money they offer is too much for clubs to turn down.

I think there’s a conflation of “success” and “enjoyment” here. Of course we’d be more successful by being 10th in the prem every year, but fuck me it’d be boring. Season effectively over in March nearly every year just treading water until the next sniff of a cup quarter or semi final came along.

I think it’s that the FA know they can’t be seen to do nothing, but after all the actions already taken by police/SWFC there’s not much else they can do to the individual. The only thing they have to go at is the club.

Do players have to be registered in the league squad to play in the cup? It feels like an obvious answer having written it down 😂

I think I read it was due to paramedics, they were all busy treating fans and they’re not allowed to (re)start with paramedics available.
