NON Wednesday transfer thread 23/24

Recommended Posts

Doncaster have signed free agent Deji Sotona on a two year deal after a trial.

20 year old striker who's already had a nomadic life. Man Utd took him from Waterford when he was 13. He went to Nice when he was 17 but that didn't work out and short stints at Brentford, Kilmarnock, and Burnley followed.

He's extremely fast and direct. An Irish schoolboy sprint champion and was Man Utd's fastest player from the age of 15. Showed a lot of promise there which is why Nice took him.

It's a bit of gamble for Donny but if he comes good then they've got a 7 figure player on their hands.

@Tylluandecent set up, very progressive.

Talk us through it...

2 centre halves. 2 slightly wider and forward defenders. 2 defensive midfielders, 2 number 10s. 2 forwards.

And it comes with an "answer machine that'll talk to you"

Charlie Savage signed a 4 year deal with Reading.

Robbie Savage just had a go at the current PL2/u21 set up on 606. Said it's set up to bring just 1 or 2 players through and the rest of the teams are just back fills. Charlie came back from Forest Green, realised he was one of the also rans and bailed to Reading and Man Utd let him go for free even though he still had 2 years left on his contract

Wilfred Zaha has turned down £200k a week at Palace to sign for Galatasaray on a shorter contract and for less money.

Didn't Arsenal want to sign him last summer or have I made that up?

Presume he wants to test himself in the champions league maybe?!

Even thought they won the league last season they're only in 3rd round qualifying, so Zaha is two games away from Champions League or Europa League
