Hoilett is out of contract at Reading, though they have offered another one, and Lang can walk away from Wigan due to non payment of wages. We were supposedly looking at him in case we couldn't get Reece James on a permanent but Warne offered a 3 year deal and he's snapped it up. Highly thought of Scotland u21 centre half, originally at Celtic before moving to Bayern's reserves. Had broken through into the first team and been involved in a couple of games. Because the cost is amortised over the length of the players contract. So a 3m player on a 3 year contract - a sum of 1m is allocated to each year and its that for FFP purposes Derby basically played the system by saying said player would be worth 2m at the end of the contract so only wrote of 333k per year.
