TAA gets by in qualifiers against the likes of Georgia where he's basically a winger but as a defender he's woeful and would be a liability against any side from Ireland's level and up. Who was been doing well, in the RB position and could cope with the WC and scrutiny around it, in your opinion Quote

Who was been doing well, in the RB position and could cope with the WC and scrutiny around it, in your opinion Honestly Andy, I’d go with Trippier and Walker. Walker is the best defensive right back on the planet as it stands now. Trippier has been brilliant at Newcastle this season, and above all else he’s a good footballer and good going forward. My issue with TAA is that for him to be a success he needs to play the Liverpool system and he needs a disciplined player in front of him. The issue is at left back. Quote
Andyben Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Hopefully Chilwell gets fit. I'd still play Shaw against a France or Argentina as he's very much in the Walker mould. If we're chasing it drop sakho in there and make sure we have e the Midfield cover to drop in behind him as needed Quote
