22-23 season non-Wednesday football tonight/ when Sky dictates

Recommended Posts

As much as I rate TAA as an attacking threat, he’s a terrible defender. When Liverpool are at full strength in midfield, it means that he gets protection with Henderson in front in that midfield three. Today he’s had to deal with a wide player without as much coverage and he’s been tortured. As a full back he’s not quick enough, physical enough or aware enough to be an elite full back defensively.

And just on Allison, I still don’t know what he was doing on either goal.

He wouldn't make my WC squad. Walker. James. Trippier all Miles ahead of TAA.

But he will because Southgate he needs 7 right backs.

If you are going on form, we are only taking two. Walker and Trippier, James has been bobbins at Chelsea this season.

Haven't watched any PL this season TBH apart from most of City Newcastle the other day.

TAA gets by in qualifiers against the likes of Georgia where he's basically a winger but as a defender he's woeful and would be a liability against any side from Ireland's level and up.

Who was been doing well, in the RB position and could cope with the WC and scrutiny around it, in your opinion

Honestly Andy, I’d go with Trippier and Walker. Walker is the best defensive right back on the planet as it stands now. Trippier has been brilliant at Newcastle this season, and above all else he’s a good footballer and good going forward.

My issue with TAA is that for him to be a success he needs to play the Liverpool system and he needs a disciplined player in front of him.

The issue is at left back.

In the old days you could flip between the current program and the previous program on sky by pressing one button. Anyone know if this is available on Q?

Just how low has this site become when posters have to ask how to use the prev channel button on sky.

@pookdo Spurs have an open top bus tour when they win the league each Autumn?

Of course not.  But admittedly, they are third in the table and no one's calling for the manager's head, so I can see why some folks around here might find them overly-exuberent.

Premier League. Liecester City v Man Utd tonight at 20-00. Should be an interesting game, bottom club with 1 point at home to 12th placed on 6 points. It's on BT Sport 1 and Ultimate.

Odds at William Hill are - Home win 23/10. Draw - 13/5. Away win - 11/10.

Spelling problem is getting worse PP

Rogers will be trying to 'do a Scott Parker' and work his ticket out after today.

If he leaves/gets sacked soon then no one will blame him for the results. They'll only see his best players being sold from underneath him. He'll walk away with his reputation somewhat still intact.

West Brom 0-1 Burnley Rodruiges pen. Goalie should have been sent off surly or is it a case of the double punishment crap.

It’s whether it’s a deliberate attempt to play the ball or not that determines not double punishment.
