Leicester v Everton is a bloody great game for the neutral.

Vardy scored a lovely goal; rounding the keeper… and.

Calvert Pig has just missed from a yard too.

Cracking game. I just hope those jammy scousers don't fluke there way out of this. Got bad feeling they might. Be brilliant if them and Leeds went.

Unlikely. Unfortunately

Seamus Coleman stretchered off with his leg in a brace, hasn’t he had a horrible injury already in the last few years or am I thinking of someone else?

He got a double leg break maybe 5 or 6 years ago, while playing for Republic of Ireland.

Pretty sure the other chap involved in the challenge came off the bench at Hillsborough once. May have been with Swansea or Villa. Full back. Taylor?

All I can say is football will hopefully get us through the difficult days ahead.

If I have to listen to any more shite about King Charles the Tampon and thereafter the utter shit dirge of Eurovision - I may scream.

Fuck the monarchy and then make use of all the Royal palaces to round up those that believe Eurovision is good

Not trying to be clever or edgy or anything but I've honestly never heard of the two actors that's bought Wrexham. I don't even recognise their faces.

Perhaps I'm just old.

It's the joy of getting old. You have no idea what is in the top 40 but frankly don't care.  You think the cinema could be an option, until you look at what is on. You see a scandal article about a so called celebrity and shrug your shoulders questioning why are they famous in the first place. You wonder what ever happened to PJ and Duncan.

Surely you recognise Ryan Reynolds 🤣

Diego Maradona's Napoli win Serie A.

Demblades wondering how they're going to fit it on their honours board.

Was his death a hoax then?

How come sky can show Man City Leeds today at 3 o clock says it’s on main event?

Because everyone wants to see Haarland score the first double hatrick in the PL (against the European champions 🤣).

2-1 win for Ayr United with an 88th minute winner to get in Play Offs, finishing 2nd.

Well done Lee Bullen.

The Scottish Championship, yet again, showed how competitive a league it is.

Inverness and Ayr drawing 1-1 with not long left. Both sides, due to results elsewhere, now out of the top 4. One goal later and Ayr jump up to second!

Inverness now face almost a full month without a match ahead of the Scottish Cup final. May as well give the trophy to Celtic now 🙁

At the other end of the table Arbroath, who very nearly earned promotion last season, only just escaped the relegation play offs 12 months later. A 0-0 draw with Hamilton (themselves a top flight side recently) was enough for them, while it was also sufficient to allow the Accies a jump to 9th, sending Cove Rangers down directly to League One in their place (nae luck Paul Hartley, ya wee prick).

So, Ayr, Queens Park and Partick Thistle march on to the play offs. One of them will win the right to face the likes of Ross County, Kilmarnock, St Johnstone or Dundee United for a spot in the Premiership.

Should be fun watching it unfold 🙂

I’ve explained why earlier. Special dispensation.

from the Mirror

Why is Man City vs Leeds on TV at 3pm?

The match was originally scheduled for Sunday, but due to the midweek Champions League semi-final on Tuesday against Real Madrid, the match was moved a day forward to take place on Saturday. This would normally have resulted in the match taking place outside of the 3pm slot, with Sky Sports already holding broadcast rights to the fixture as part of its rights package.

A 12.30pm kick-off would have clashed with the Coronation of King Charles, which is due to take place on the same day. And a later 5.30pm kick-off was not deemed to be an option due to a lack of police resources.

Because Betty and her mates in the Union Jack hats would have tutted loudly.

And the Met Police would have arrested everyone not doffing their cap in reverence to inherited wealth and privilege

I really do think the crowds that turned up in London and those that celebrated the Coronation locally or at home, plus the world wide interest shows that these type of remarks aren't edgy or funny, rather they are very much in the minority. Vocal minority, but still very much a minority

In answer to the equally 'edgy' question, it didn't clash with the Coronation so that the majority of the fans could see both as you both well know.

A growing minority that incredibly a few got silenced and arrested for simply turning up to offer another view. Slightly dystopian that we would question if it happened in other less apparent civilised places.

The Monarchy is part of the system that basically fails the UK time and again. But eh keep waving

So they got treated like football fans then, like when you're having a quiet drink somewhere you're not supposed to be.

By the way, I loved the yellow shirted spokesman outside Wandsworth nick and his clearly non British accent

There’s stuff clashes with the football every week. If you want to watch the coronation then watch it, but I don’t see why we should shift everything around for it just so people can watch both. Record one if you must.
