Effectively, we’ve got two holding players in the new lad and Byers. Vaulk and Adeniran are box to box, and Bannan and Dele are attacking midfield players.

I don’t see a reason we’d need to let any of them go. Alex Hunt can have a spell on loan in league two again.

It just leaves us needing some attacking width now.

And I’d still like a Dean like player at center half from the division above. But that’s not critical.

Kemar Roofe

It'll piss Derby fans off but his recent injury record isn't too smart.

45 days over Christmas, then 24 days at the back end of last season and he was rushed back half fit for the Europa final. He broke down again at the beginning of pre-season and missed the trip to Portugal.

The general consensus is his knees have gone and that's why Rangers want him off the wage bill, be it a loan or a buy.

Well he WAS useful and you would think in league 1 he'd be excellent...... Can't see it though

Kemar Roofe loan doubtful due to wage demands according to Dom Howson

Not really demands are they? He just wants the wage stated on the contract the daft jocks have given him and we clearly don't want to pay it all and neither do they 😄

As we struggle to defend and play 3 at the back, subject to wages, I would get Harlee Dean from Brum.

Think we'd all (DM included) have him back in a heartbeat bri, but it was Bowyer wanted shut of him and the recent change if both owner and manager at Brum might have put paid to that

He's on £31k. He'd have to at least halve that to come to us on a permanent deal and if he's willing to take £12-16k in wages then he'll have most of the lower end of the Championship asking about him.

And Bannan will never lose the armband unless he's the one who gives it up.
