Sun shining, first game of the season, packed Hillsborough and the return of Judas. It’s one I’ll always remember, maybe had we won it might had gone down?

And I think that's why I thought against it.  Not saying I'm right btw

Some great goals being mentioned but i wouldn't call many of them 'folklore', a goal that fans still talk about today and the more the goal is discussed, the greater the number of fans that claim to have been there that day.

Take Varadi. Absolutely brilliant goal vs Forest, running the full length of the pitch but not talked about anywhere near as much as his goal at Anfield.

I was there at Anfield btw. I said I'd be back, and I was.

The oldies will understand that.

Not a Wednesday goal but one I've always remembered is a goal at S6 in 1992 by a Chelsea player called Graham Stewart.

Picked up the ball in his own half proceeded to carry the ball, took on 3/4 players & put the ball pass Chris Woods at the Kop end.

I remember that one.
