Off to a few concerts that I'd forgotten about

Eric Clapton next weekend at the new CoOp Live in Manchester

Loyle Carner in Manchester in July (escort the daughter and her mates)

Underworld at Brighton Beach in July also.

Probably pop to St Malo a couple of times as well.

I first saw Loyle Carner at Manchester Gorrila. He was supporting Kate (y) Tempest. Can’t believe it was 9 years ago.

Underworld are always great live.

Should be good.I would have liked to have seen Cream.

Looks like the problems with the arena are sorted out as well.

Your giddy anticipation is perfectly natural, H.  But take the time to savo(u)r NYC and Boston; they've got some things of cultural value, as well.  Fewer, sure, but some.

Barcelona in a couple of weeks a couple of free days there then the Primavera music festival.

Looking forward to the Euros then might get a week in Dorset mid July.

I enjoy watching baseball.

Sounds like you’re having a great time.

Had a lovely little wander about with the missis and one of the kids, and the dogs this morning in the glorious weather. Got my head into the studies this afternoon, stopped to watch the footy… finishing the evening off with a pint.
It’s been decent.

Yay a General Election to keep us excited now 😆

Seen your posts on the other thread. I think Sunak has taken a big gamble if he's relying on sporting event goodwill to carry through to votes

I understand that, pal, but we all know what happens next.  (Not meaning Ty.)  From the most innocent of starts it a) goes mega and b) it goes rancid.

AF isn't wrong, we'll need places like this as a refuge from all the wall to wall, relentless shite to follow over the next several weeks.

🤮

I'll watch some cricket online. Yorkshire sometimes has streams on Youtube.

I've lost interest in F1.

I have a trip to Jeju (South Korea) planned. Another to Okinawa (Japan). If there are any pennies left I might splurge on a trip to Hoyland.
