Skamp Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 I like to listen to the commentary on the way to Hillsborough but I don't like the in match betting. Quote
Gleadless Owl Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Brazil putting his foot in it and Hawksbee & Jacobs were the only things worth listening to. Brazil and Jacobs are only on once or twice a week now so rarely listen. Simon Jordan isn't bad every now and again, but couldn't listen to Jim White talking shite every day Quote

Brazil still worth a listen and Laura Woods OK but better on Instagram. The ex pros such as Ally McCoist, Ray Parlour and Andy Townsend are good but some of the newer ones are horrendous - Darren Bent, Agbonlahor and Charlie Austin. Andy Goldstein and Darren Bent are particularly bad on Drive. I can't believe I've just read "Andy Townsend" and "good" in the same sentence. *Spit* 1 Quote

Actually find the former give reasonable coverage to the lower leagues, if not better than 5 Live do They’ve got a deal with the EFL for more coverage, Sam Matterface is a 🛎 though. Quote

Tylluan Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 Forest Green tapped him up in the same way they'd been done over by Watford. They only approached County after Burchnall said yes. Then they released a statement saying they were talking to the club of their preferred candidate. The only manager interviewed that wasn't unemployed was Burchnall Quote
