Christ I can’t say I wasn’t worried when they 0-1 up. I was in two minds whether a draw or a QPR win was better, but I certainly would have been unhappy with a Huddersfield winning. Big week for us now. If we needed back to back wins, it’s this week.

What odds the fella at Brighton, he seems to have done a decent job whilst having some of his better players leave. I would think DR is here for the season, but who knows what will happen next season. I’d like to think he’ll stay whatever happens at the end of this season but getting relegated could be a reason for him to go and keeping us up won’t go unnoticed by Championship clubs and above. Best thing we can do as a fan base is continue backing him.

Will we ever see a Sheffield derby in the top flight. Im not asking as a pessimist, just as a realist. It appears to have over time got less frequent but now we are talking about 30years since it happened. Something significant would have to change for both teams to be in the top flight at the same time. I hope it could happen but based on the recent past it seems unlikely statistically.

Don’t disagree but why this incident and nothing nationally or even to any significant extent locally in relation to the horrific treatment of DM, DC etc. Clearly more visible you might say but still seems strange that this particular incident has been picked on, that’s all I’m saying. Maybe it’s just a timing and coincidence with other events.

Putting aside what happened yesterday, which is hard I know, but do we think there will be any more incoming? I suspect we need to get some off the wage bill before there’s any chance of any incomings. I’m also intrigued as DRs stance on whether they have to better than what we have or would he settle better than anyone leaving.

Interesting how that hasn’t had quite the same national exposure as what happened yesterday. Doesnt change the abhorrent nature but I wonder why the situation at Hillsborough is singled out more than others that have happened over recent months.

It’s another disappointing result but not unexpected. I think we were more competitive than Boxing Day and not just because we were playing at home. I can understand some of the comments about the team selection but I thought we had some good spells but it was against a well drilled team and they are on a high just like Soton, which isn’t to be underestimated. It was a little bit puzzling that Byers and Momo weren’t used. The race is far from run and we don’t need to panic. It’s about picking up wins against those teams around us and nick some from those further up.

I disagree, every home game from now until the end of the season we have to try and win. A point would be no disaster but its our home form that will largely determine if we can stay imho. Today is going to be very tough, think Leicester (Cov beat them recently) and Ipswich at home. Weve improved since those games but its going to be a huge win if we were to pull it off. After this Id say only Leeds and maybe WBA will be anywhere as difficult at home.

It was a great goal to be fair to Bullen. Hes no legend and shouldn’t have been on the legends picture. Good servant, made the best of what he had and was part of some success - even if at Div3. For me legends needs to have not only been good servants to the club but been successful at a higher level like the team of 91 etc.

That’s a shame. I was pretty critical of him when he did play but I always thought he had some quality if used correctly but of course XM was never consistent or implementing a clear game plan - so far as could be made out
