  1. Yep that sounds like the kind of thing that can to cause a last minute equaliser 😂 Thats why I don't even think about looking at the scores these days until 5 past.
  2. Its what you do in Rome though 😀 I went to watch Roma and Lazio in 2018 with a few mates, one of which was living in Rome at the time and it was a really enjoyable game. Dzeko (not sure that's how you spell it), used to play for Citeh was on fire that day - he didn't score but the Lazio backline couldn't handle him
  3. That mid week Cov game was a collectors piece at the time, i.e. rarely able to get to midweek away games. We should have nicked it as I recall. Hirst in full flight that City game.
  4. I like NML but he needs to be picking the ball up facing the goal and running with it. Playing him as a striker doesn't work for me. For me Gregory is our number 1 striker, it's then Berahino, then Pato (who also provides the additional heading power in defence), then NML so as we've had all season DM making baffling team selections
  5. Not watched or been. why the fuck is DM not starting Berahino!? Bringing him on with 20mins is plain bollox. It's takes him 10mins to get up to pace. Start him you fvcking muppet.
  6. Let's hope the 5k get behind them, I think they'll need it. Big away following usually means the home team raise their game
  7. Must have been about 18k Sutton fans, cos there were 30k there overall. sounds like Sutton were unlucky in the 90 and just ran out of steam in the extra time from what was discussed on RS tonight. If I remember our game against the mini pigs they had two shots on goal and we had plenty, just didn't have someone that can finish like Gregory. His goal on Saturday was superb, plenty of players wouldn't have been able to finish that with their feet.
  8. The one that makes my piss boil is when opposition players fall over in the own half when a Wednesday player is following in behind them. The officials fall for it every time. I wonder how many of the fouls are that situation. That's the kind of thing the coaches should be spotting and coming up with ideas to counteract
  9. Interesting stat Chelters. I'm not sure we can draw many conclusions but as you say it leaves an eye brow raised at least. It's almost like the referees performance when we played Villa a couples of seasons back but across a season, it just seems improbable that the amount of fouls given is proportionate to the amount of possession the opposition have had. i definitely don't see us as a dirty team, at times I wish we would put a foot in more. Hutch has had his moments and so has Pato but generally speaking both are pretty restrained compared to some opponents we've seen. However, my usual default with these kinds of things is that it's more a case of ineptitude than conspiracy. The refs in this division have been on the whole poor but poor for both sides. I wonder if there is the reverse mentality going on with some refs, i.e. I can't be showing bias for the home team with the big home support.... Lets hope if we do get in the playoffs we get decent refs. The bloke that reffed the Brighton playoff would do nicely.
  10. Good shout, he didn’t have much to do and did really well when it looked like they definitely score given the numbers they had forward.
  11. So that’s now 47pts at home. Surely we can turn Crewe over to make it 50, although I’d take any kind of win now we are getting to the business end. An early couple of goals and it could be an avalanche though. I’d be happy with 2 points from the Bolton and MK games. I think we can afford it. Obviously 4pts would be great. I’m thinking Bolton must be thinking they can’t make it now - too many other clubs ahead of them not to mention the points gap.
  12. 3pts move on. I don’t understand playing NML as a striker he’s better facing the goal. I’d have started Berahino, the bloke is full of confidence but he’ll soon lose it if Moore dicks about with him. Both NML and Iorfa don’t look to be quite up to the pace of the games yet. Should have started Dunkley and have NML and Iorfa to come on late on.
  13. Is it finally coming to head?! https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60946333
  14. Next they'll be introducing quarters and having a draft. Just another way of the existing Prem clubs making it harder for any Championship clubs to stay up
