  1. I thought they would / will bring more than 2k.
  2. Must admit it raised an eyebrow for me. Always thought they were better than that, even if it's a mid day KO etc etc. It'll make for a better atmosphere
  3. Re Dyche, the thing is about Burnley fans griping about the style of football, he's been having to work with bargain basement for years. IF he'd spent millions on high quality players and they'd been playing hoofball ok. So, do they want pretty losing football, probably not in the Prem or functional football but in the Prem. It seems to me Dyche is the more modern Allardyce. Look what happened to Notlob after he left.
  4. Oxford having a sniff again makes some of these games a bit more interesting. Some of the teams battling at the bottom will also make some sweat. Im hoping we don't need anything from the last game play offs wise. However needing a win for autos could mean the place is buzzing, I see Pompey are only getting 2k tickets
  5. This looks like a list of players that weren't that good, mixed with some right bellends that it's was easy to dislike. I won't say I dislike the ones that weren't that good because it's not their fault the club signed them. However, the likes of De Bilde and Bothroyd are very easy to dislike because of their attitude
  6. Whilst I was worried about conceding tonight to make it 1-1 I was never really that worried because they were very poor. It was just more frustrating that we hadn't dispatched them earlier and left us worrying.
  7. I was referring to our financial overreaching, the team continued to do ok until Wilson took the reigns.
  8. Exactly what I was thinking walking away from the stadium tonight.
  9. We made hard work of that but 3point goes on to our total and it will say we won 1-0 in the papers tomorrow that's all that matters right now, particularly after the other results tonight and after the last few days. Some strange changes to the team tonight both from the start and during the game. I can understand taking Gregory off but the other changes are just a bit odd.
  10. There’s plenty thought that including ourselves in 1995-2000
  11. I’d take a point now and wins against Crewe and Pompey. Need at least a point from our trip to the seaside
  12. I'm hoping Plymouth can win at Wycombe on Saturday a) bc it does us a favour and b) it will put Roveram under even more pressure. obviously beating MK Dons would be fantastic but I feel we are at best going to get a draw. If Wycombe draw or lose Saturday would be a good outcome.
  13. I don't think I can agree with that. Berahino may not have scored a hatrick but Accrington were making hard for us. Gregory doesn't score every game so why should Berahino and if he's creating space or providing for other he doesn't need to. Jus wish he'd give them a run without changing. In the same way Byers, Luongo and Bannan are left alone even if one of them isn't quite at it.
  14. Always thought Stockdale was a decent keeper for Championship and he did well for WW when we played them. I've no idea what his contract situation is or his age but he might be a good signing alongside a younger signing. just checked he's 36, too old for what we need.
  15. Yes. Saw em against Italy a few years back 1-1 it finished if I recall. I also went to a game when I was much younger against an Eastern European team, I think it was a Czech team and it was boring, it was when Greenwood was the manager I think. I just don't feel any connection with them. Don't get me wrong I watch our games (mostly) when we get to the finals of the various competitions but that's it. The most I was ever interested was when we had a few players in the squad back in the 90s. No comparison to following Wednesday.
  16. Bloody hell, really hope Citeh don't mess this up now and let them scrubbers in. Reesh it's an almost certainty now re Crewe. TBH pressure or not, with our home form we should beat Crewe with no GK. I do think we need a point from the MK Dons game though.
  17. Yep that sounds like the kind of thing that can to cause a last minute equaliser 😂 Thats why I don't even think about looking at the scores these days until 5 past.
  18. Its what you do in Rome though 😀 I went to watch Roma and Lazio in 2018 with a few mates, one of which was living in Rome at the time and it was a really enjoyable game. Dzeko (not sure that's how you spell it), used to play for Citeh was on fire that day - he didn't score but the Lazio backline couldn't handle him
  19. That mid week Cov game was a collectors piece at the time, i.e. rarely able to get to midweek away games. We should have nicked it as I recall. Hirst in full flight that City game.
  20. I like NML but he needs to be picking the ball up facing the goal and running with it. Playing him as a striker doesn't work for me. For me Gregory is our number 1 striker, it's then Berahino, then Pato (who also provides the additional heading power in defence), then NML so as we've had all season DM making baffling team selections
  21. Not watched or been. why the fuck is DM not starting Berahino!? Bringing him on with 20mins is plain bollox. It's takes him 10mins to get up to pace. Start him you fvcking muppet.
  22. Let's hope the 5k get behind them, I think they'll need it. Big away following usually means the home team raise their game
  23. Must have been about 18k Sutton fans, cos there were 30k there overall. sounds like Sutton were unlucky in the 90 and just ran out of steam in the extra time from what was discussed on RS tonight. If I remember our game against the mini pigs they had two shots on goal and we had plenty, just didn't have someone that can finish like Gregory. His goal on Saturday was superb, plenty of players wouldn't have been able to finish that with their feet.
