The pen is an odd one. If he’s given it for the elbow, it’s a red too.

We’ve settled on allowing them to have it wide and we will deal with the cross.

I don't think it was deliberate intent, Gregory had his eyes on the ball, but raised his elbow as he went to head it.

So I am not arguing against the penalty too much but a red would be harsh. But our defending seems to involve wrestling half the time so their fans were encouraging the ref so no surprise it was given.

But we just need to work out the ball isn't radioactive and we need to keep it more. But I think that needs at least 3 changes in midfield. But Bannan is a modest Championship player at best

We are so far off the required level its scary

Are you actually surprised?

I’ll try to remain optimistic and not panic yet, as it’s very early days in the season, but we are being made to look mugs by one of the poorer sides in this division.

I hope that this is just early days and down to players still getting to know each other and our system of play, that we will eventually click and start to push on, and also address those blatant midfield issues whilst at it - urgently!

Well at least there is no misconception of where we are squad wise.

Way way off the levels required all across the pitch

Let's not pretend that Hull are good and we are so far behind their standard

Bellsview asked if I was surprised, not with the League 1 squad but you hoped the new players would improve us

Not so far.

I am going out and saying Xisco will be gone by end of Sept as well

We will be reyt. See what it’s like after 10 games before the tampax come out.

I think you are wrong sadly. Way  below the required standard in just about every position on the pitch.

Slow both in action and thinking.

And the fact Xisco had no clue how to stop their right wing back all match was embarrassing for him

Not hard to see why Xisco only lasts so long at clubs...
