  1. We should’ve done an Ipswich and asked for different ones. Whether it would make any difference who knows
  2. We need Rotherham to do something against Birmingham otherwise we are going to most likely need to win 2 of 3 games now to have a chance. Two leads chucked away v Swansea and Stoke with really soft goals is something we have seen too many times from sides who are unable to stay up. Maybe playing away will suit some of our attacking players but there can’t be any room for error now. Here’s to a miracle three game run.
  3. Plenty of effort but failing to win our most winnable home game in front of 32k when the job was almost done feels terrible. In going for a second we let them in. Had 1 nil all over it. Huddersfield probably feeling equally sick with that 100th minute ex player penalty which keeps them in it too
  4. Their wide players have such ability the ball seems to stick to them but tonight they seem to miss a physical striker to aim for. Great goal by Plymouth but an absolute sickener
  5. Surely if someone needed to talk about that day to someone else, to ease their trauma they would have done so and have always been able to. It doesn’t need to be official and played out in the media moving forward. But where is the story in that 35 years later
  6. Hopefully the tip of the iceberg down at S2
  7. I guess mystic Meg should have predicted this kind of response. If anyone needs to chill out it’s you
  8. Yep, because of that I think it’s more likely between us Plymouth and Huddersfield for those two spots with Stoke Birmingham and Blackburn more likely to have just enough, unless we beat Stoke and Blackburn that is at which point we’d be trading places
  9. Leeds will be desperately frustrated after being held by the Mackems also
  10. I think it just shows how similar all the teams are at the bottom end. We have been tanked a few times but then go and win. We could have lost 5-0 to Norwich but draw 2-2. With that in mind this defeat for Stoke could either deflate or spur them into a response but impossible to predict. I suspect having a short turnaround and then having to come here will barely allow the dust to settle though
  11. A lovely set of follow up results tonight. Better than expected. Huge chance to take control a bit more at the weekend
  12. Bannan still a key player but the team as a whole suffered when he played cm in a 2 even a few years ago. So even moreso now as he’s still got the quality on the ball but off it he will need younger legs around him. If he stops on next season that will be crucial either the right midfield partner (perhaps Diaby was supposed to do this) or have him as part of a midfield 3. That three we had of Luongo, Bannan and Byers had a bit of everything at L1 level. Perhaps a similar approach could work at this level with the right players
  13. As Stuart Gray once said, needs the right mix of soldiers and artists and I suppose that mix changes each game.
  14. It’s a huge game that will have a huge impact on where we end up. The “moaning” was fully justified first half as reflected in the 4 subs at HT
  15. Vital point. Feels like the season hinges once again on Stoke at home now
  16. Great comeback so far, doing the ugly stuff we needed to do
  17. Another example of how trying to play top six sides at their own game blows up in our own face. I know we are at home but the longer we stayed in this game the more likely we were to get something
