  1. Are you assuming we would have got the same points per game under Moore as we have with Rohl? I would agree Moore would probably have got 6-9 points more than Xisco.
  2. Can we have a tongue in cheek flag for the slower among us?
  3. Little backing? Who have we missed out on because of the lack of backing?
  4. He actually said we’d be waiting until we got new players before we decided to possibly let players leave. There was never a suggestion that we had to sell to buy or loan, other than from social media Twitter idiots and local media click-baiting.
  5. Great that we came from behind, didn’t give up and got the goal. Whilst we might not need the replay I’d rather us leave the game with a positive feeling for the players. It stands us in better stead for the next game. We can worry about the replay when it comes but at least we go into the next league game with a positive mindset. Delighted with the goal for Gassama. He deserved it. He’s getting more consistency into his game. As for the booing taking the knee. It gets booed all the time. Most people who boo it aren’t racist. They are protesting against the hypocrisy of the movement or having politics in football when it suits. Some will be racist, of course. There were 29000 people there last week. 2 people were seen to be racist. 2 too many but it was 2. Tonight we were all branded racist. Not because we booed the knee, but by the Coventry fans. The same Coventry fans who had the banner of a helicopter bursting into flames to welcome the Leicester supporters a week or two ago. Do I think they are all vile people who laugh at the death of the Leicester owner? Of course I don’t. That would be ridiculous. They are in the main decent people who we’ve always had a decent relationship with as fans. Do I think both actions are equally deplorable, of course I do. That people booed the taking of the knee might somehow play into the narrative that we are all racist to me is interesting. Should people really stop being who they are and stop standing for what they believe in, just to prove that we all aren’t racists? Fuck that. if they weren’t racist last week when they booed the knee, then they weren’t today. They didn’t have to prove they weren’t racist by remaining silent whilst the players were taking the knee. Not in my opinion.
  6. We didn’t have a player within 20ft of him. Awful time to concede. We give teams way too many opportunities to score.
  7. Life was better when we only had Clubcall to rely on for our news.
  8. Belated birthday wishes Reesh. Hope it was a good one
  9. I’d prefer for us to plan for staying in Championship than keep him in case we go down. Getting his wages off the books gives Rohl more options. If we kept him and went down, I still don’t think Rohl would use him. We didn’t play a style that suited him last season (not in the way that Rotherham did); this season even less so.
  10. Thanks for cheering my weekend by reminding me that the taxman is about to take all the money in my bank. I’ve been chasing my accountant for weeks to prepare my tax return. I’m fairly sure he doesn’t wait for weeks for us to pay his invoices.
  11. Moving the Watford game means I now can’t make that.
  12. I think the deal is reported as Undisclosed Fee on BBC so not the free transfer mentioned earlier.
  13. I think the same. I don’t think he’s had a great game yet under Rohl. I know he’s been injured a lot so hasn’t had much game time but I’m not convinced he’ll make it at this level with DRs style of play. That said, we’re hardly blessed with bodies in the middle, so if he was to go I’d expect us to sign another player besides Coventry.
  14. We used to sing “we all fucking hate L**ds” to the damn busters tune and used that as the excuse after the semi final defeat there, if memory serves me correctly (which it often doesn’t). I think we even got an apology from the vicar / priest after the game for the treatment we got from their fans.
  15. I assume he’ll be allowed to leave the club in the window. Makes sense for him to move on and get more first team football.
  16. Merry Christmas everyone. Thanks to you all for contributing towards making this a place of sanctuary for many of us. Hope everyone has a great festive period.
  17. They can both go. Buckley is a decent player but hasn’t featured enough. Gregory appears to be down the pecking order. The rest haven’t offered anything so go without hesitation.
  18. Fletcher, Hendrick, Buckley, Wilks, Gregory (if he wants game time) Bakinson.
  19. Saw Deadletter at Brudenell a few weeks ago. They were excellent. Also saw Blacklisters in a basement in Shipley. Managed to get tickets for Glastonbury again, which I’m delighted about.
  20. Were the supporters groups consulted about this appointment? If not, something else to put on the protest flag. Hopefully the final piece of the back room jigsaw.
  21. If I had to pay each time I went to games, I’d probably go to 5 or 6 a year. As it is, I buy a season ticket and probably miss 5 games a season. I also leave on 65 minutes when it suits (Millwall) without being enraged by having spunked £35 to see us be awful. A season ticket is the only way to keep me fully engaged.
