  1. I don’t think I could fault a single player for us today. Even the subs got involved immediately. Everyone seemed to know and stick to their roles. Fitness levels seemed much improved. I thought it was a top class performance. Had we won 4 or 5 nil I don’t think they could have complained. We created loads of chances and critically we took two of them. We looked in control throughout. It was a pleasure to watch. The win was much needed but well deserved. Early goals meant the atmosphere was great and all the focus was on the pitch. Loads to eulogise about and I accept one swallow does not a summer make, but today meant I enjoyed my weekend for the first time since August, so here’s to more days like these.
  2. Of course blue and white is our identity too, but I’d sacrifice the white stripes to suck the devils appendage in return for glory but couldn’t sacrifice the Wednesday.
  3. I’d be ok with that but not if they dropped the Wednesday. Wednesday is our identity
  4. Ok. What if they chose Red Bull Sheffield, would it still be as appealing? The prospect of being a well run and successful team, but having to lose the Wednesday part of our name and possibly have red in our home colours.
  5. What if it was Sheffield Red Bull and they dropped the Wednesday?
  6. That’s where I was coming from. A combination that it’s a short term thing, that will be cleared up in the coming days or weeks and therefore not impact us in January. I’ll wait to see what happens but think it would be wise to make a statement before the game tomorrow, otherwise the action/inaction of DC will overshadow the game, which Rohl and the team absolutely don’t need at this point.
  7. Basically yes. Let the haters enjoy their Friday though
  8. Is there an amount we need each year to keep us afloat? I try to donate every couple of months, just want to be sure I’m giving enough.
  9. Just dreadful. We concede so many pathetic goals.
  10. From what little I saw on my hooky feed, I thought that was an improvement on previous performances.
  11. I think the market was closed when I looked, because in theory Toytown should have been playing. It came back on around 11pm. I’ve had a bet on us finishing top half at 20-1 which I think it more achievable than top 6.
  12. I can’t find any outright bets for top 6 on Skybet, nor bet365
  13. I wouldn’t. I’d rather have the team we are putting together and if that means a season back in the third tier, so be it.
  14. The M Word notwithstanding, he speaks well.
  15. Hi Joe Great to see you. Like you, I like wearing a cap indoors, albeit I prefer a flat cap so as not to confuse people that I think I’m younger than I am. I wouldn’t take the criticism of your journalistic talents to heart. They’re only teasing you for your inability to check facts, names and spelling before publishing articles. Don’t let it bother you too much.
  16. Good luck to the lad. Seems like he’s had his struggles.
  17. Staton will be furiously writing his next article with one hand whilst “rewarding” himself with the other.
  18. They only have to pay a maximum of £3 to get in though, so you’ve got to expect the pricks to gather when it’s almost free to enter
  19. I can’t “like” this comment as I’ve seemingly used up my allowance for the day but I would have done do, had I not. I agree, time to get behind the team, manager and club.
  20. Might have to chase the £100 I’ve got on us to make the top 6 by having £20 on that 😂
  21. Rob Staton is a rancid individual, hiding behind the 300 angry “fans” who won’t be happy until the chairman is gone. It’s lazy click bait journalism. He was at Munoz in every single press conference about Marvin, just to keep himself relevant. Hopefully one day he can reflect at home, alone on the part he played in giving them “their club” back and getting them £5 off their tickets and £10 off the cost off a shirt. It won’t cross his mind that none of the 300 subsequently bought either a ticket or a shirt. I’d like to think that Nev aside, most of the real fans will acknowledge that DC acted at the right time with regard to Munoz and has made an appointment which shows he’s got the best interests of the club at heart. Most of us on here want to see longer term planning and bringing Röhl in points to that. I think many of those at Hillsborough who joined in with the Chansiri out chants got swept up in the emotion of the utterly dog shit performance against Sunderland. I don’t think we’ll hear much anti DC chanting for a while. I think with this appointment Chansiri has shown he intends to be here for a while to come.
  22. Will the press conference be on the YouTube Live channel?
