Much improved on the last two performances. I thought Momo, Delgado and Musaba looked good. Let’s hope nothing too serious for Diaby as him and Byers looked like they could forge a decent partnership. Creatively we lacked and whilst our chances weren’t great, you’ve got to take them to stay in games. Ours subs have arguably made us worse in each of the 3 games so far. a week or so ago I said maybe only 5 from last season would stay in the starting line up. Now I think we could end up seeing almost all new players forming the side that starts the game. We’re getting better, we just need to get two or three more games under our belts and hope we scrape a win somewhere along the way.

I probably should have read the prizes first, as I assume an assist would be in there. Not sure my plots with the corner flag in it will see much action 😂. All for a great cause so still happy to be a part of it.

I agree. There seems to be a need to have multiple stories about Wednesday every day, with no regard for its veracity or relevance. As you say, the amount of bad grammar and misinformation is embarrassing.

More interested in clickbait headlines and creating some kind of scandal than the football. Why isn’t Reece James playing? What does Marvin have to do to get a game? They want the manager to say something negative so they can cause some outrage. I’m looking forward to today. Hopefully see some more signs of the team coming together and players showing they’re picking up the system. Xisco clearly likes Byers. We offer so much more with him in the side. Excited to see what Momo can bring. If we don’t win, can we have a separate thread for the Negative Norman’s to congregate?

This is what irks me a little. Saying DC is doing things on the cheap. Firstly, we don’t know this. Secondly, the last time we were in this division, we got points deductions for not doing things on the cheap. Either way, it’s DCs fault. I don’t agree. I don’t think DC has zero good will and I believe the team needs time to change and I’ll give them that. Today wasn’t good enough, we know that but there aren’t 2 games to go with 6 points needed. Many people said the team needed wholesale changes, as it was too old; that’s happening. A lot of people believed Darren Moore wasn’t the right man for the job , DC changed that. And as for short-termist approach, we’ve signed a good spread of younger players this summer. I assume that won’t be accepted either if we’re struggling and we should have signed more players with Championship experience. Sometimes it feels like you’ve put shit in DCs left and right hand and you’re asking him to clap.

I believe each year gets quicker and quicker because life becomes repetitive. The concept of the speed of time is somewhat experiential. As the years pass, the brain has experienced most events many times before and so they appear to pass faster. The only way to slow down the quickening of life is to try new things.

I’ll not get too disheartened. It looked liked we’d get mauled in the first 20 but settled and gradually grew into the game. Disappointed that we couldn’t come away with a point. I think we’ll see less and less of last season’s players as a few of them struggled with the new way of playing. Perhaps that will change over time but imagine we’ll see 6 old and 5 new or thereabouts as the season progresses. Delagdo looked like a good signing, he found some decent space and carried the ball well. You could tell he understood the system. Looking forward to seeing how we develop over the coming weeks
