  1. I think you have a valid point in your definition and to be fair it’s one I could get my head around. I just can’t help but think it more sinister for some who use it! Maybe that’s more reflection of my feelings towards the current state of things outside football than those who are using at s6
  2. Please explain to me what “we want our Wednesday back” actually means? When did we have it please? What does it look like if we get it back?
  3. Yes but that was linked to the Hillsborough disaster as much as luck if I recall correctly
  4. I get the point but AB raises a great point - did we really have momentum? We had to pull out the bag an almighty comeback to get to Wembley and then we were pretty much outplayed by 10 men for most of the game! The overwhelming lack of outrage from the fan base when DM was removed shows that we all feared we would struggle under his leadership.
  5. See you are almost making the point of many of here who are not anti Chansiri! a) relegation was bloody painful but it as enabled to us to get the house in some form order (In Football terms!) b) it would seem that D.C. did want to give DM a chance but the two could not align on a few core beliefs. c) Chansiri as opted for route that involves a Young manager with some championship credentials (Ipswich fans were not impressed with their manager to begin with) d) transfer policy as been one augmenting existing team with young potential and players in need of rehabilitation - NOT a major splurge due to previous learnings! e) it’s currently failing because Munoz gone for a revolutionary approach of evolutionary and maybe not have ability DC hoped he’d have! Now in one breath fans say DC chops and changes too often (which I dispute) and in another we want Munoz out after 8 league games and 3 months in the club! if you ignore the decision on match day prices - which whilst killing our walk up- does seem to be maximising the revenue from away followings currently .. other than the odd rant the only other thing Chansiri anger is being fuelled on his past mistakes AND quite frankly the mis telling of some of those old so called mistakes!
  6. As we attempt to drum Chansiri out of the club … the pigs remain on the open market valued between 90-150 million? They have a guaranteed income stream for 3 years?? Or is it 4 now with parachute payments. Chansiri doesn’t want to sell .. but could be forced if his losses could be recouped .. so around about 100 to 150 million. If people want to buy Wednesday for 50 million great - means nothing if Chansiri doesn’t want to sell at that price (why would he) and if they can’t afford more they ain’t rich enough. Seen a tweet from Scunthorpe chairman doing rounds today where he said let the club die. The stupid thing is the only thing stopping Chansiri spending is the FFP rules! The system is broken and we want to blame our owner for that system!
  7. Know his face, know the Mexborough lot well - very sad he was not that old either
  8. It was .. Bates went Leeds and jacked the prices up… ironically.
  9. How people see it?? The protest identified his nationality on purpose! They have done the right thing adjusting it! The fact they went there in the first place is worrying - and I’ve given them the benefit of doubt. I don’t currently feel there is a need for protest against the owner. Am close to calling for a new manager though!
  10. Honestly I recall the enthusiasms when DC took over especially the pre-season friendly to Thailand and how many of us were going to have to convince our other halves to let us go lol We've gone from that to possibly targeting an entire country population saying your not welcome at S6. I KNOW THAT IS NOT INTENTION BUT!! If they read this and stalk (I’ve been posting there again about this) - they need a re-think and issue a statement asap!
  11. So in essence we’ve had 2 direct action attempts - Bin Bags & Tennis Balls. After their first failed effort and the second efforts negative response they put the next set of actions to a vote. They then settled on 4 ideas and balloons topped it but then they researched it and introduced the unlucky Thai colour. Making it an attack on the owners culture origins as a way of driving him out.
  12. Green and black balloons now - because their unlucky colours in Thai culture. One of the podcast stirring up the pot as someone had their season ticket under review due to a joke about elephants - suspect the joke involves damaging company property. Am fine with the whole business decision debate. He’s got it wrong / I hate the results / he damaging our club. I understand the desire to protest these or not. I can get the current anger on results - jeez am feeling it as well! But the attacks on his culture, the references have been their since day 1 to be fair but now are being mainstreamed via protest are for me are at least beneath us as a club. If DC ownership was one great exercise of sports-washing then I put that under a different category when you come to highlight cultural differences - depending how it’s done of course. In essence we are trying to drive out a foreign owner by attacking his culture. I maybe accused of hyperbole here but that’s my take on it! p.s. cultural debates exist at clubs owned by western and eastern owned clubs as well.
  13. Penalty right in front of me - soft yes, but he did grab him. No complaints .. well not about that incident anyway. Awful to watch today - but we can’t afford to ditch him without a man lined up to take over as I don’t think we have the luxury of allowing us to drift under a caretaker whilst Hillsborough implodes.

  16. I’ve said 10 games. Am 4 off that mark and 5 away from international break. We pull off victories Tuesday and Saturday and Munoz pickup 3 points from the following 3 then I’ll not be calling for his head. But we lose these next two .. then Chansiri needs to be sounding out Nathan Jones and Dean Smith with enticing offers! We can’t wait till November if we go into the second international break with less than 9 points on the board!
  17. Today Delgado surpassed the famous Potter corner episodes. Yet James can’t catch a break! 2 weeks to pull it together and we looked worse than preseason at times. Close to making the call now .. if I was DC I’d be tapping up Smith!
  18. Westwood / Mcgugan / Hutchinson (x2) .. probably others I can’t recall. A long history of this at clubs and with players. I think the local journalist are more informed due to information coming from Derby - and their management team which they know very very well! They were never this active other the other situations! Deals brake down for many reasons and I’ve seen the tweets about wages and loan fees banded about.
  19. One other consideration. Lots of fans commenting it’s boring and move on… I agree. But lots of these fans are also the ones who are majorly anti Chansiri and this disclosure doesn’t help their narrative. I’d argued in Facebook and Stalk similar assumption to that in the statement based off information from here by Tylluan of his time at Donny. Lots disagreed with that info esp the anti Chansiri mob. Turns out very close to the released statement if I do say myself. Let’s note Darren Moore sky interview occurred a few days before Cardiff away. It was at this game when the chants gained momentum. Lots of on the fence fed up fans got off the fence as result of the press coverage that week - that is fact! Am hoping some of them get back on the fence but am not stupid this will depend on results! Regards timing it is linked to Saturday and allowing us to enjoy the result at Leeds.
  20. Because DM had told porkies to the players which I suspect rankles DC.
  21. Very pleased overall! Chansiri out chants in the late 70th minute didn’t take hold! Seriously who thought that would be a good idea! Apparently also at start of match but I were in the peacock still lol Let’s enjoy the 2 week off! And come back and nail 12 points from the next 5
  22. Got involved in debate with the Rev singer on X .. he posted this list which contained the King of Thailand memorial and Elephants - I nicely pointed out that he should be a little ashamed of posting something containing that him being Mr anti racism and left wing. He blocked me! Am bored today may find this list and do a thread on here lol
  23. Fair do’s I mean off the top of my head infrastructure around the ground that’s improved to generate better revenue streams Wednesday Tap introduced Open days Fan zone 1.0 Fan Zone 2.0 Self manufactured kits (attempt) Think their as always been function hire at the ground so that’s not new Cashless payments to reduced losses (granted not everyone’s cup of tea) New pitch along with heating lamps — Not sure the above is revolutionary to be honest but what else is there whereby construction companies are not required to do more? I think 250 million + loss makes it pointless up to that point PL success pay him off financially and ego ! Lol
  24. “More exciting” than Moore approach yes .. and the word “trying” I didn’t say achieved did I. It’s not happening at the moment but the fact he’s trying to buy pace is a huge leap from the last 4 years. Another way of reading his post match comments is that he’s asking to buy more strikers.
