  1. Protest march, QPR (h) 16th December, 2pm Further to our request for a meeting with Dejphon Chansiri, we can confirm that the club did indeed offer to enter into dialogue. We suggested the following; We would give up anonymity, in exchange for written agreement that members giving up their names, would not face sanctions from the club, in terms of banning orders or any legal action. We also requested that the minutes from the meeting regarding the potential take-over bid were publicised to the wider fanbase. This would give Wednesdayites the clarity they deserve. Neither prerequisite could be met by the club and as a result we have no further option, other than to upscale protest movement. We have listened to the wider fan base, we have no immediate plans for disruptive protest during the games and we are not currently in a position where we feel this is the best course of action. When in the stands, we’re fully behind Danny Röhl and the lads. We urge you, the fans, to join us in protest of the current ownership of the club at 2pm on 16th December, prior to our home fixture, against QPR. This protest march will begin at Hawksley avenue, through Hillsborough park and end at the directors entrance under the south stand. The above is the current intended route but we are in discussions with SAG, the club and SY Police. We call on all Sheffield Wednesday fans who have had enough of the current regime, to join us in solidarity. This club was here before and will be here long after the current custodian. We stand together in saying enough is enough. The 1867 Group. #swfc
  2. Starts off sensible but then… a) DC flys into country but no intention to sell b) consortium is perfect and will do exactly what we all want?? c) all about confidnetialtiy though so can’t so too much about them d) oh by the way - this is Chansiri demands - positioning - indeed really as no intention to sell - wants to be there forever .. e) New consortium happy to share all this with 3 people who once started a racially motivated campaign and wanted to show D.C. they are honest and genuine by sharing all this with said group to happily post to all fans to turn them against the owner.
  3. https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/save-owls-sheff-weds-fans-fighting-chansiri-2773812 One member of the 1867 Group believes while the fans were patient for many years, around 90 per cent no longer support Chansiri and there are genuine worries about the club’s future. “We’re always constantly thinking whether we are going to have a club this time next season,” the campaigner said.
  4. Fact is the timing of his departure was a disaster for us! The managerial options to replace him were poor, the fact DC thought we had the right man this time compounded the impact of his leaving us! As responsible for our downward spiral as any DC decision outside of the points deduction, refusal to sell at the best price and the Munoz appointment.
  5. The key is willing to work with .. improve .. support the owner in the ultimate aim achieving promotion! Not form an opposition where both legitimate and illegitimate criticism is fed equally and more division is created.
  6. I have just posted this in a thread that's on going but thought no harm in making a new thread so as many people as possible can see it. The Trust held a meeting last night with a few other fan groups, Clive Betts MP and Jane Hughes of the Football Supporters Association (FSA). We discussed the idea to organise an umbrella group of fan groups to agree on a consensus response to this on going situation of worrying statements. We have agreed to put a list together of all the fan groups we know of with the intention of inviting all groups, reps, etc to an initial meeting. The trust agreed with the FSA they would provide advice on how to coordinate / go forward with this before we actually meet. Hopefully this will mean the umbrella group will meet requirements of the new football regulator that is in the offing and can act as the fan group that represents the widest possible number of us for the foreseeable future. The idea being the Umbrella group has defined shared purpose that hopefully we can get consensus on but each group will keep their own identity and be able to campaign for their particular focus. The trust are keen for all group reps and people keen to get involved to get in touch through our enquiries@swfctrust.co.uk email. UTO
  7. Pretty much every manager been given autonomy on staff other than D.C. insistence we keep one of the old guard retained if possible. And every manger been given the requisite autonomy to bring players in / sign off players before being brought in.
  8. Geoff as posted it on Twitter not sure his source though.
  9. Pleasure to see - made a big difference and created opportunity and space as result. Risky yea .. but is this the embodiment of Rohl allowing players to express themselves? I got flashback to early days of Warhurst running through middle when he were a CD tbh!! long may it continue (till we get exposed from it! Lol )
  10. 100% as there were a couple of Mexborough owls behind that as sponsored game today
  11. That group is spouting more nonsense on X .. really wish they would of one!
  12. Awful event .. I’ve seen the incident truly a freak accident. 8k in arena last night lots of upset people plus the other player involved will be going through lots of issues RIP and thoughts with all involved.
  13. AlL those stories come from fans who hate the owner and have done for a long time!
  14. But it’s a badge our owner wears on multiple occasions .. that’s my only hope currently .. it’s poor process and incompetence not the other things. why turn interest down in cads? Why allow huge investments in coaches if no cash??
  15. Accuracy is important is it not ? as is clarity
  16. Let me be clear … my concern are no less than any other on this forum .. for me I am leaving it to 1pm tmw before I declare serious issues. the stories being leaked and built upon by journo, podcasts, protest groups etc .. are self perpetuating and self serving for them! Clicks =Cash now by 1pm tmw of the club are still stum I’ll happily declare huge problems .. but right now am going to look at rational non alarmist reason to why late payment maybe happening.
  17. Are you sure ?? DC processes and decision making delays have been proven poor on multiple occasions.
  18. My feeling Alistair may not have the authority to sign the cheque or use the company credit card .. poor processes at the club which we know is the reality of D.C. management more than malevolence.
  19. Could be due to King Chulalongkorn Day delaying fund transfers ….. yep am clutching
  20. Most my cash goes into hole nowadays to be honest .. blew £300 watching us play at Watford after beer, travel and tickets
  21. Could it be he’s not paying it and it needs to come from the club cash flow .. I.E. no more extra investment.
  22. It’s depressing .. just hope we get statement from club before Sunday kick off clarify the details of the event .. similar to Luton from 2021.
  23. 17.3 in full… Consequences of a Default Event. Without prejudice to the general position (pursuant to Regulation 44.4) that all registrations must be approved by The League, a Club which is subject to a Default Event shall be subject to a registration embargo such that it shall not be permitted to register any Player with that Club without the prior written consent of The League for the period that the Club is subject to a Default Event. 17.3A Regulation 17.3 will not apply where a Club suffers a Default Event due to the failure to discharge a COVID PAYE Liability and has entered into a Time to Pay Agreement and is compliant with the terms of that Time To Pay Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt, where a Club defaults on the terms of a Time to Pay Agreement, and such default results in all outstanding amounts becoming due to HMRC immediately, the Club shall remain subject to a Default Event until such time as the outstanding amounts are paid or included within any other Time to Pay Agreement.
