  1. Bells, Moore came with an offer and wasn’t willing to negotiate it.. Chansiri says he was willing to. [that’s the only info we have in the public domain -currently not disputed] Am not sure it’s a sacking or you can blame Chansiri fully for not having scoobies post such an event? Then what is obvious given the constraints of operation and the huge amount of rumours doing the rounds as to why - we failed to appoint quickly. We were behind the curve by finishing on the 29th May!! Playoff teams always are. DM was the reason for that screw up! So we were behind the curve, a manager hunt created more issues and then setting up the backroom took a little more time. Is it short term thinking to allow him to sort a backroom out before recruitment? Am not sure it’s being labelled correctly - if DC sacks him this side of Xmas maybe that is short termism.. but not sure we can claim it now with any accuracy as being “throw it all together last minute”
  2. Had hoped for a little sanity on here having been looking at Stalk and some of the Facebook groups … MK doing a good job replicating the knee jerk reactions here 🙂 Most of us understand there is a process in place here, new players gelling with old. new players need to get on pitch as well and a brand new high press style that clearly not working yet. We have to at minimum as a fan base hold nerve to the first international break! The anti Chansiri lot are loving it.. but remember they jumped at the Barnsley defeat to rain doom down on us all. P.S. It’s that non of us are not close to panic, it just applying common sense to all the variables at play here!
  3. Stats show us trying - 17 shots greater possession. Mates at the game telling me were awful - I.E all over shop Listening to I follow said similar tbf Were a brand new team and formation gelling I don’t think any of us are expecting us to hit the ground running due to slow start though We’ve fought till end and got an equaliser We’ve smashed them on penos with the new keeper saving 2!! PNE, Hull, Sunderland and the mighty Southampton all beaten by lower opposition
  4. Oh agree!! Also Dawson got a yellow for time wasting - Stockdale tactics are fucked in this now era ! As a team and supporters we’ve got to gear up for minimum extra 15 mins per game now.
  5. Like most of you I’ve come away last night not feeling too down hearted. We lost to 2 well taken goals and against a team whose likely to lose a few before the window shuts and whose value is light years ahead of ours. Also consider we lost Byers in middle before kick off and 10 of 11 played a totally different system for 1 whole season if not 2 then yes am fine with the defeat. One scary factor was the 6 + 9 minutes extra time on the field. Now that serious value for you tickets prices but going to be costly for those 5:30 train back to Sheffield away days lol.
  6. Our future local American owner !
  7. Yes an owner who is ambitious, as demanded play off push as a minimum requirement of any manager - but accept it’s not as easy as that as well. Cuts his cloth accordingly as he attempts to walk the tightrope of P&S and player wage demands / expectations. Seemingly learning from his mistakes and currently just asks of his fan base to criticise him Face to face and not make our club a laughing stock on social media. Welcome to season 23/24!! UTO!
  8. That won’t be for another 2 years
  9. Wasn’t that the company we used during covid to pay wages? Didn’t DC roll it season after?
  10. Coming together nicely .. it’s almost like we’ve been delayed in our preparation isn’t it……. So many people said we were signing no one and that’s 5 in the door.
  11. Saudi world cup bid is what’s coming next - Qatar worked on many levels for FIFA, the public and not so public! I don’t blame the players for taking the cash, there will be an argument of changing society from within. They become heroes to a young generation of Saudi and post their large contracts their liberal influence may have some impact. But the falsity in this argument is democracy in the Middle East (a western ideology) often leads to a nightmare geopolitically for the West and East.
  12. I think it’s simple - if he was serious it would be done in the background. When DC came on board and it got close to being done DC showed his faith by buyer players for the club BEFORE officially taking over! Once these “buyers” hit the press, trying to win over the fans, instead of sorting it direct it screams publicity only!
  13. As AB says not meant to be critical. Just that as a regular [rational] poster who went to look at possibly buying the club via a fan crowdsource model you could be of value to Chansiri request for fan initiatives.
  14. @mkowlthesexynewversion alright matey one of the feedback from this meeting is how other clubs with lesser fans base we’re pulling in better revenue streams thus lauded by the motley crew as better than us. Chansiri apparently said he doesn’t know how they did that - and they have all got their knickers in a twist about DC should know and be working on it. Get a meeting with the bloke and give DC the keys to unlocking extra revenue streams based in your astute analysis - he may even fly you over to Thailand if you impress him enough and treat you to Thai hospitality!
  15. A lad on one of the Facebook groups met with DC and posted a long follow up post. He’s a constant critic. DC said a few things of interest He recognised his name They had run sentiment analysis on Facebook post and found the majority of names of those who are negative are not regular ticket buyers
  16. That podcast WTID if full of Chansiri hating folk! They are stoking a huge fire at the first opportunity. Definition of a toxic bunch! Also happily to slag rational Wednesday fans which applauding each other in their little echo chamber!
  17. If you have that sort of disposable cash it’s a great deal. Free season tickets every time you are outside the premier league and a count down when inside the PL. no one is being forced and it’s clearly a premium based product! Cracking deal but sadly I have other priorities at the moment. It does suggest though price point for North Stand in PL will hover between £600 to £800 if we do get there.
  18. MK your points are valid but not relevant as it’s not one club that can turn the tide. We will probably never be that club either under current ownership! However a long term critic of DC as just sorted a face to face with him! Have you consider taking DC up on his word and sitting with him? Very least maybe able to get the auditing job? If not change the whole world of UK football.
  19. Away fans will suffer as club exact revenge on us. one drawback of the system. Mind we paid £28 for Boro away whilst they all paid £10 once.
  20. Leicester top ticket price £88 for cat a in one stand. they also have multiple differing prices for different parts of grounds alongside a 2 category system. Should Chansiri introduce zoning as solution .. you want half way line you pay more than the wings in the same stand? Nearer or further from pitch more pricing differentiation?
  21. Firstly you’ve hit the strategy of the clubs approach bang on the head. The reason they have so many options is so they can freely switch prices to hit demand based on any given situation. The policy of the EFL is that you have to set your ticket prices before the start of season and stick to those prices - with a little wriggle room. Season ticket holders would only be upset if prices dropped below what they had paid for to see every game for all games I suspect. It was pointed out earlier break even in years gone by was around 17 games in - now it’s 11 [category depending] Maybe what the fanbase should be doing is making the point to Chansiri that he should aim to be cat D E F for the majority of games. As opposed the protest being argued for now. With membership that would mean just to be clear [membership which 1000’s found the cash for just to have for 1 week] KOP £25 £28 £31 North £31 £34 £37 South £34 £38 £42 I think season tickets for Kop at current prices works out £23 a game.and the 3 year deal assuming no promotion in between £20 a game.
  22. Prices have increased £3 on the Kop since 18/19 season prices have increased £6 on the North since 18/19 season Prices have increased £10 on the South since 18/19 season. He got rid of the cheapest offering in the ladder this time. I think the club are allowed 3 promotional games in the season. Rumour as it 22000 ish season tickets. Let’s say average away following of 2000 over season will give us an average of about 24000 - similar to 18/19 season regardless of form. Form & recruitment and majority mid tier pricing games could see us achieve over 25,000 average, maybe higher if we do really compete! It’s the same outcry as his original championship pricing but because prices were brought down to reflect league 1 status propel people have forgot. All it’s done is propel the Chansiri out brigade again and we’re now stuck with this throughout the entire season.
  23. How many games were cat A £44 last time? First game of season against Bristol City and there was an outcry then. I then think we never got there again? Hovering around B/C/D and 1/2 lowest category or £10 a game specials? DC justification at time was the range of category allowed flexibility based on how we were performing and demand for tickets. Something to do with the rule of setting tickets prices before season starts? He also wanted to fleece away fans- suspect limited capacity as highlighted options to do this again. Didn’t we then get taken to court because away fans challenged the classification of the Lepping lane as the south stand! Lol Just really could of nailed it this season such an own goal. Let’s see the calibre of player.. wages get ignored by fans so freebies as seen as cheap.
