  1. Clearly never been QPR away when it’s a sell out!
  2. Heard two stats .. Us, Arsenal Everton and Newcastle won most our trophies whilst a king was on the thrown in the past? Also that only the second premier league team we’ve beaten in FA cup in 30 years.
  3. Financial fair play demands clubs dons revenue streams …
  4. Fuming .. been watching this trial by Twitter all morning .. Honestly they are painting comments as ignorance to 1989 .. whilst displaying huge ignorance to Hillsborough 2023! But you can’t explain to them this! You can’t explain that fans ignore seats on away day.. congregate on stairwells.. and create problems for all fans (behaved or not). They want to blame the design of stadium - because of 1989 and recent dramas.
  5. Nations League … Promotion Euros qualification win Euros On board the new manager. No excuses this time
  6. Just remember all the social media platforms are private entities - so its not really a platform for free speech - it’s what they allow. If you get blocked their not curtailing free speech - because when using their platforms it’s subject to their T&C’s. But then you get people crying about free speech online all the time.
  7. Hope Hunt isn’t too injured - he looked gutted when he came off. You know what I didn’t even clock Shaw tonight - at theirs we gave him lots of abuse. Never going to happen with just under 9k in ground though at home I guess. Still he’s way off playing at a higher level. I hope that goal will be Mighten launch pad now- he’s lightweight but clearly skilful.
  8. Ha ha - I’ll be giving Hemmingham some abuse when I see him over there now! Scripted bloody song fuck that! wonder how “if you wear a yellow jacket your ****” is going to go down!
  9. Right kick in teeth got news through around time Plymouth scored last minute .. dark times on 280+ drive back home .. dealing with a last minute winner and knowledge of getting kicked out of Papa Johns! Devastating night.
  10. Issue is back then the top division teams income was 100x that of the next division below team just for being in the division above.
  11. I get the focus was on the north south bit … but the point he made about bottom 4 playoff … sounded very much like a closed shop approach for PL.
  12. Today is a sad day for the nation. The Queen is dead, Long Live the King, God Save the King.
  13. To be honest August as been pretty intense on the attending front, it’s nice to get back to one mid week game! I’d like a minimum 10 points ideally a win down at Plymouth having seen 6 shipped goals down there last season.
  14. Good turnout from us tonight fan wise anyway 3355. Last time when we played them Megson was subbing players in first half last time and it went to penalties if I remember correctly. Mitten & Wilks when on in second half briefly together looked to be running into same space (very early days) Smith got a half and scored a penalty so that was something. Bradford wanted it more against our third choice team in fairness. We’ve taken 18000 plus to away games in August. … now back to the sub 2000 capacity grounds with hopefully an intact squad. One objective automatic promotion.
  15. More about an alternative view of how things could be set up, and how current status quos are supported and reinforced than a debate regards proportionality and share of taxes for different groups being judge fair or unfair.
  16. Long term thinking is impossible when we keep switching leadership of the country - so when I say we I mean the governing party keeps switching its leader.. regardless of elections.
  17. I thought last season he was great - one of the best on the field. We rushed him back too soon for the Plymouth FA cup game. Slightly concerned he hit the floor 3 times and didn’t really bounce back off it Wednesday night- if memory serves Physio’s out twice for him?? A full season from him would be fantastic. I think last season form stumble may not of happened had he been fit tbh. He’s got real talent for me but needs a break fitness wise. I caught Moore comments after match when I got back on the highlights I think they is some concern on that front sadly, hope am wrong.
  18. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-11105781/amp/Barnsley-want-terminate-new-deal-sponsors-HEX-fans-unearth-vile-homophobic-tweets.html Pr disaster for club
  19. Live life frugally and you will be ok seems to be the view of a few… Classic divide and conquer - it’s your own fault .. you can afford fags, big tv’, no such thing as poverty. It’s rhetoric pushed out and supported by the wealthy - through you TV, internet etc (historic tropes). You focus on you neighbour, the immigrant and benefit cheat. Distracts you from the tax avoider (staffing levels between benefit cheat and tax avoidance! ) , the culmination of wealth into the top 10% (really 1% though), the power structures (revolving doors between HMRC & the big 5)and the reduced social mobility. Still more people angry at those attending food banks - than others.. All Mick Lynch fault) p.s. train Strike spoilt my Bolton plans .. bastards UTO
  20. The fans are not banned… the fans can pay in the gate. I am pleased the fans in question that they are now are in a financial position again to afford outplaying for a season ticket. I am sorry they may have to pick and choose their games in the future. As for the clubs decision I have zero issue with it, indeed I applaud it as I am pretty sure said fans were warned. As for the timing of the article - very poor for local paper to air it now.
  21. Played well last night I thought in first half - was further up the field.
