Andyben Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Beadle going down 'injured' will happen a few times today. Puts us 5mins behind the other games if needed as keeper is only position that doesn't have to go off and wait 45 sec to come back on Quote

owl71 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Funny half. Röhl may be giving a bollocking or two at half time🤨. Sunderland as bad as many people said they would be and very much there for the taking. Too much sloppy play from us though, and it’s giving them the faintest sniff. Good 15 minutes at start of the second half and its job done. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 A VERY good first half for me. I think we'd expect to concede a few chances, but.... Nothing more than we deserve, Sunderland have largely had their flip flops on. 1 Quote

MAL Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Squeaky bum time for Blackburn If they concede now, they go into the relegation place. Quote
MAL Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) No they're not, still drunk and getting drunker 🫣 Edited May 4, 2024 by MAL Quote
TheExile Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Every team at the bottom winning is incredible. No wonder there are medical emergencies in the stands 1 Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) Unbelievable How on earth have we survived. We were one of the most embarrassing football teams ever to play in this division under Munoz I don't care what people say, this beats Peterborough! Get the sandwiches out ready for Cwissys' visit next season Edited May 4, 2024 by Kiwi Owl 2 Quote
owl71 Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Every other result went against us yet again. Not a single penalty all season for the first time in 58 years. 50 points turned out not to be enough. Record breaking bad start. Doesn’t fucking matter. We’ll be seeing all these teams again next season, and we should be looking at the other half of the table. 👏👍🫡👊 3 Quote
TheExile Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 That’s another superhuman feat from Wednesday to finish a season. Wednesday have previously struggled in these do or die situations but the manager and some of the leaders in the team deserve so much credit. As good as a promotion all over again. What a relief Quote

Those results elsewhere today if you heard about them before without knowing ours it would have been sh@t the bed time Quote

HoylandOwl Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 GET IN THERE!!!!!! Absolutely brilliant today. It's never easy being a Wednesday fan but... That's justice for DR and his team of staff and tbf the players too who pulled their fingers out when it mattered. 2 Quote
Billysboy Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 2 miracles in 2 seasons, love it, time to get hammered and fuck the 1867. 4 Quote
mkowl Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 I mean it's a fantastic job that Rohl and the supporting back room staff have done, to galvanise this squad not just for an initial period but 7 months. I really questioned that it could be done given the position he inherited, but fully deserved. Let's hope the forthcoming pre season now builds on this. Thank fuck its in the Championship that is the most important outcome 3 Quote
Kiwi Owl Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 (edited) Even better, its Birmingham City that have been relegated As someone that remembers their fans antics after they won promotion to the PL in 2007, good f*****g riddance! Hope you stay down there for a long, long time Enjoy your first game of the season at home to Wrexham! Edited May 4, 2024 by Kiwi Owl 2 Quote

Add to that they’re run by Yanks that thought they were so knowledgeable that they fired a manager who looked to be setting them up for a playoff chase. Quote

HoylandOwl Posted May 4, 2024 Posted May 4, 2024 Who would take mid table obscurity just for one season to get a breather from all this drama. 🤣 Not me, we're going up. 1 Quote

I mean I am not going to comment on next season until at least tomorrow😃 but a certain team based in Suffolk have shown its feasible I think all I ask for is no major melodrama for the next 3 months and we properly plan for the 2024/25 season. 2 Quote
