M42Owl Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Chelsea at home. If they lose to City, West Ham. Quote
KrolMong Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Anyone at home who on paper we should beat. You want the bigger teams later on if possible. 1 Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) Home tie for me... I'll go with Walsall - who are currently 1up at Stockport. Or Grimsby. Edited January 8, 2023 by owl4ever1867 Quote

HoylandOwl Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 Indeed it is the first time they’ve been to the 4th round. Quote
HappyOwl Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Mardy Rooney back for that one after his ban Boooooooooooo Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Very happy with that draw! Hopefully a win will see us into the 5th round & another financial windfall for the club. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 Let’s not get carried away and assume…. Quote
HoylandOwl Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 Getting into round 4 has ‘earned’ us over £200,000 Quote
Lee Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Only one man city, Chelsea and arsenal will be in round 5 Same applies to Liverpool, wolves and Brighton. Can we..🤣. Quote
Andyben Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Imagine being a Wednesday fan and thinking we're through to next round already 2 Quote
Andyben Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I just think there's nothing certain until the 98th minute. Quote

Remember when we had Charlton, and the prospect of Sheffield United the round after…. Everyone and their mother, was assuming it was a done deal. Then we know what happened next Quote
Tylluan Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Fleetwood will also be looking at the draw and fancying their chances. They'll see it as an opportunity to go even further, just like us. It's a one off game and we're the bigger team this time. We win the league game 1-0 and they'll think they can turn that around. We win by 3 or 4 and that may strengthen their resolve to come back and give it a proper go. Either way we have to dominate early and capitalise on that. 1 Quote

EBRA Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 Heard two stats .. Us, Arsenal Everton and Newcastle won most our trophies whilst a king was on the thrown in the past? Also that only the second premier league team we’ve beaten in FA cup in 30 years. Quote

HoylandOwl Posted January 12, 2023 Author Posted January 12, 2023 Looks like it can be a good earner this FA Cup lark for teams at our level. Naturally you have to progress but, for most clubs at our level its a decent amount. Quote
