Where to start? Players had zero confidence in the first half; they’d just gone. First goal was all down to the fannying about at the back, and then Vasquez surely should have done better from the corner. Second half was a little better, but let’s face it Sunderland had pretty much declared, and still looked more likely to add to their lead than we did to get one back. I’m not really seeing any positives from that I’m afraid. Decent first half, but my God Middlesbrough were shocking; and we somehow let them dominate the second half.
