  1. That changes things. You’re right @Snap
  2. It’s never great to see a league table tarnished by teams with points deducted; but how do you punish in this scenario. Reading the report, they took a decision to strengthen their team rather than stick to the rules. Not fair on the sides that stuck to the rules and were relegated surely.
  3. The flip side of that is that they survived relegation last season because they cheated.
  4. Yesterday was Paterson’s fifth league booking - so he’ll have a one game suspension. Windass one booking away.
  5. Yellows for Bernard and Paterson v Millwall. Paterson joins Vaulks at the top on six points. Callum Paterson 6 Will Vaulks 6 Barry Bannan 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Josh Windass 4 Pol Valentin 4 Di’shon Bernard 3 Bambo Diaby 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Liam Palmer 3 Cameron Dawson 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 George Byers 1 Akin Famewo 1 Djeidi Gassama 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  6. I didn’t think a message on a shirt was a yellow, it’s just if you take your shirt off isn’t it? He just lifted his shirt up to show the message.
  7. A red card for Bannan at Bristol City moves him to within two points of the top. There was also a first AHA point for Gassama courtesy of a yellow. Will Vaulks 6 Callum Paterson 5 Barry Bannan 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Josh Windass 4 Pol Valentin 4 Bambo Diaby 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Liam Palmer 3 Di’shon Bernard 2 Cameron Dawson 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 George Byers 1 Akin Famewo 1 Djeidi Gassama 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  8. Again - promotional stuff like that is often automatically added to all e-mails going out from corporate e-mail addresses. Would be standard in our company whether it was from the MD or the cleaner. I really hope it’s fake - I suspect it’s not.
  9. That’s just the standard way an e-mail sent from a corporate account on an iPhone shows isn’t it?
  10. At last. An update to this table. Our first point v Rotherham was thanks to the clean sheet. The defensive substitution was after the cut off point, so it’s 0.2 for Dawson, Iorfa, Diaby and Bernard, and 0.1 for Paterson and James. Smith added the other two points. In Meaningful Goals Smith gets two for his opener, and half a point for putting us two in front. Who Got Us The Points Michael Smith 2 Anthony Musaba 1 Di’shon Bernard 0.6 Dominic Iorfa 0.45 Cameron Dawson 0.4 Bambo Diaby 0.4 Akin Famewo 0.2 Michael Ihiekwe 0.2 Reece James 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Calum Paterson 0.15 Juan Delgado 0.1 Liam Palmer 0.1 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 4 Michael Smith 2.5 Juan Delgado 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1
  11. Two yellows v Rotherham. Bernard and Dawson. Will Vaulks 6 Callum Paterson 5 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Josh Windass 4 Pol Valentin 4 Bambo Diaby 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Liam Palmer 3 Di’shon Bernard 2 Cameron Dawson 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 George Byers 1 Akin Famewo 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  12. Everyone will have a cut off point though won’t they? Just that it will be different for us all. Red Bull Yorkshire White and Red kit Stadium move to outside Sheffield You still in then?
  13. This is exactly where am I with this. At what point is it not the same team?
  14. The run of single yellow card games continues. At Plymouth it was Iorfa’s turn. Will Vaulks 6 Callum Paterson 5 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Josh Windass 4 Pol Valentin 4 Bambo Diaby 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Liam Palmer 3 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Di’shon Bernard 1 George Byers 1 Cameron Dawson 1 Akin Famewo 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  15. Two of the easier games just gone and a return of one point is a big concern. As others have said goals are the big problem. We just don’t seem to have a goal threat that is going to return more than one a game (in fact one would be a start), which means you’re asking a lot from your defence. We pretty much need them to keep a clean sheet for us to get anything. I agree with KrolMong - limp on to January picking enough points up to still be within (long) touching distance, and then shrewd additions and we might just have a chance.
  16. I think we’ve got to be realistic and accept that it’s going to be one hell of an achievement if we stay up. To be nine points adrift with a quarter of the season gone is massive. Three wins to get out of the relegation zone (assuming the others all stay still) when we’ve just put three points on the board so far. I’m not being defeatist (well maybe I am), but I’ve all but accepted relegation. It would seem out of character, but I wonder if Chansiri also has. These managerial/coaching appointments seem more long term than previous ones. Are we accepting a step down, but with a proper rebuilding project this time rather than a short term ‘get out of the division however we can’ approach?
  17. At Watford it was another single yellow card game. This time Hendrick was the one who went in the notebook Will Vaulks 6 Callum Paterson 5 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Josh Windass 4 Pol Valentin 4 Bambo Diaby 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Liam Palmer 3 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Di’shon Bernard 1 George Byers 1 Cameron Dawson 1 Akin Famewo 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  18. Very sad news. Never met him, but he was a prominent poster on here when I first joined.
  19. Yes, but the rumours were that he was added into the squad on Friday, i.e. before there was any suggestion of an injury to James. And we have nearly a fortnight to see whether James is going to be out or not.
  20. But surely you’d wait until that happened before filling the last spot wouldn’t you? Diaby can’t be added back into the squad till January now, which surely indicates that they’re not expecting him to be fit before then.
  21. How does the naming of the squad thing work? Ia assume (other than filing empty spaces) that you can’t change it till the transfer window. Otherwise it defeats the object doesn’t it? So if Johnson has been added then it must mean no prospect of Diaby being back any time soon.
  22. Another point! The point from the 0-0 draw with Huddersfield is down to the clean sheet of course, so it’s the keeper and defence that get the credit. The defensive change came after the 70 minute cut off point for its 0.2 for Dawson, Ihiekwe, Iorfa and Bernard, and 0.1 for Palmer and James. Who Got Us The Points Anthony Musaba 1 Di’shon Bernard 0.4 Dominic Iorfa 0.25 Cameron Dawson 0.2 Bambo Diaby 0.2 Akin Famewo 0.2 Michael Ihiekwe 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Juan Delgado 0.1 Reece James 0.1 Liam Palmer 0.1 Calum Paterson 0.05 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 4 Juan Delgado 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1
