  1. Just done mine. Is everyone else being forced down the PayPal route? Not particularly a problem, but it forced me to even though I tried to choose the ‘or Credit/Debit card option.

  5. It was an accumulation of points.
  6. Yes, buying random ones is the only way I think. They will allow you to change them afterwards. I’ve done it a couple of times lately.
  7. There have been five Wednesday goals (plus an own goal) in the last four games. Windass’s two doubled his tally, with Palmer, Wilks and Gassama getting the others. Musaba is still our leading scorer on five, with an end of season projection of eight. Windass now has four, and should finish up with 6. Smith, Cadamarteri, and Johnson have three, with another two to come. Gassama on two should get one more, as should our single scorers.
  8. Yellow cards for Famewo and Bernard v Coventry. It moves the former alongside Bannan at the top of the table. Barry Bannan 10 Akin Famewo 10 Bambi Diaby 9 Will Vaulks 9 Di’shon Bernard 7 Anthony Musaba 7 Callum Paterson 7 Pol Valentin 7 Liam Palmer 6 Josh Windass 5 George Byers 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Michael Ihiekwe 4 Cameron Dawson 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Djeidi Gassama 3 Marvin Johnson 2 Malik Wilks 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  9. One point for Gassama in Meaningful Goals for his equaliser v Coventry in the cup. Who Got Us The Points Marvin Johnson 5.1 Anthony Musaba 5 Michael Smith 2 Bailey Cadamarteri 2 Djeidi Gassama 2 Di’shon Bernard 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Cameron Dawson 0.8 Bambo Diaby 0.6 Michael Ihiekwe 0.5 Dominic Iorfa 0.45 Akin Famewo 0.4 Liam Palmer 0.4 Reece James 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Calum Paterson 0.15 Juan Delgado 0.1 Pol Valentin 0.1 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 10 Marvin Johnson 6 Bailey Cadamarteri 4 Josh Windass 3 Michael Smith 2.5 George Byers 2 Juan Delgado 2 Djeidi Gassama 1.5 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1 Jeff Hendrick 1
  10. No points onto the main table v Coventry; but Windass gets half a point for reducing the deficit to one goal. Who Got Us The Points Marvin Johnson 5.1 Anthony Musaba 5 Michael Smith 2 Bailey Cadamarteri 2 Djeidi Gassama 2 Di’shon Bernard 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Cameron Dawson 0.8 Bambo Diaby 0.6 Michael Ihiekwe 0.5 Dominic Iorfa 0.45 Akin Famewo 0.4 Liam Palmer 0.4 Reece James 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Calum Paterson 0.15 Juan Delgado 0.1 Pol Valentin 0.1 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 10 Marvin Johnson 6 Bailey Cadamarteri 4 Josh Windass 3 Michael Smith 2.5 George Byers 2 Juan Delgado 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Djeidi Gassama 0.5
  11. A yellow for Bannan v Coventry puts him a point clear at the top. Ihiekwe, Gassama, and Johnson joined him in the ref’s notebook. Barry Bannan 10 Bambi Diaby 9 Akin Famewo 9 Will Vaulks 9 Anthony Musaba 7 Callum Paterson 7 Pol Valentin 7 Liam Palmer 6 Di’shon Bernard 6 Josh Windass 5 George Byers 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Michael Ihiekwe 4 Cameron Dawson 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Djeidi Gassama 3 Marvin Johnson 2 Malik Wilks 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  12. Three yellow cards in the 4-0 defeat at St Marys. Bernard, Bannan and Ihiekwe were the recipients and it sees Bannan join the trio of Diaby, Famewo and Vaulks at the top of the pile. It’s shaping up to be an epic Alan Harper Award season. Barry Bannan 9 Bambi Diaby 9 Akin Famewo 9 Will Vaulks 9 Anthony Musaba 7 Callum Paterson 7 Pol Valentin 7 Liam Palmer 6 Di’shon Bernard 6 Josh Windass 5 George Byers 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Cameron Dawson 3 Michael Ihiekwe 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Djeidi Gassama 2 Malik Wilks 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Marvin Johnson 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  13. Fuck sake - can’t make the Friday night.
  14. It’s a myth that it’s a curse. You just remember all the times when a defeat follows it, but forget the wins. A bit like the sixth place team always winning the play offs. The third place team wins more often than the others.
  15. My memory was that we incorporated the Dambusters theme (the non-we all hate Leeds version) after the Kaiserslautern games into our repertoire; and were still singing it by the time that semi final at Old Trafford came around. At that game it was a very small burst of it as I think most Wednesdayites thought “hang on we can’t really sing that here”. The home leg was a different matter though - it was sung on purpose, but as a reaction to their actions after the first leg.
  16. There are only Meaningful Goals points available in cup games, and it’s two points for Windass for his early opener v Cardiff. Own goal’s don’t get credited in this table, and there’s nothing for Palmer and Wilks for putting us three and four goals up respectively. Who Got Us The Points Marvin Johnson 5.1 Anthony Musaba 5 Michael Smith 2 Bailey Cadamarteri 2 Djeidi Gassama 2 Di’shon Bernard 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Cameron Dawson 0.8 Bambo Diaby 0.6 Michael Ihiekwe 0.5 Dominic Iorfa 0.45 Akin Famewo 0.4 Liam Palmer 0.4 Reece James 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Calum Paterson 0.15 Juan Delgado 0.1 Pol Valentin 0.1 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 10 Marvin Johnson 6 Bailey Cadamarteri 4 Michael Smith 2.5 Josh Windass 2.5 George Byers 2 Juan Delgado 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Djeidi Gassama 0.5
  17. Two conceded penalties v Cardiff; nice AHA points when they are saved. Two points for Musaba, two for Valetin. Bambo Diaby 9 Akin Famewo 9 Will Vaulks 9 Barry Bannan 8 Anthony Musaba 7 Callum Paterson 7 Pol Valentin 7 Liam Palmer 6 Di’shon Bernard 5 Josh Windass 5 George Byers 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Cameron Dawson 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Djeidi Gassama 2 Michael Ihiekwe 2 Malik Wilks 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Marvin Johnson 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  18. Seven goals since the opening post. Two for Musaba, two for Johnson, and one each for Cadamarteri, Gassama, and Windass. Musaba leads the way with five, and an end of season projection of nine. Smith, Cadamarteri, and Johnson have three and are on course to finish the season on five. Windass on two, should finish the season on four, with our single scorers set to get another one.
  19. Abother decent points haul game v Hull. Ihiekwe gets two for conceding the penalty, with one each for Palmer, Valentin and Wilks for their yellow cards. Bambo Diaby 9 Akin Famewo 9 Will Vaulks 9 Barry Bannan 8 Callum Paterson 7 Liam Palmer 6 Di’shon Bernard 5 Anthony Musaba 5 Josh Windass 5 Pol Valentin 5 George Byers 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Cameron Dawson 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Djeidi Gassama 2 Michael Ihiekwe 2 Malik Wilks 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Marvin Johnson 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1
  20. Hull’s penalty meant that Johnson’s strike got us our first point with Gassama’s excellent finish providing the other two. In Meaningful Goals Johnson get two points for giving us the lead, and Gassama half a point for putting us two goals in front. Windass doesn’t get anything. Who Got Us The Points Marvin Johnson 5.1 Anthony Musaba 5 Michael Smith 2 Bailey Cadamarteri 2 Djeidi Gassama 2 Di’shon Bernard 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Cameron Dawson 0.8 Bambo Diaby 0.6 Michael Ihiekwe 0.5 Dominic Iorfa 0.45 Akin Famewo 0.4 Liam Palmer 0.4 Reece James 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Calum Paterson 0.15 Juan Delgado 0.1 Pol Valentin 0.1 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 10 Marvin Johnson 6 Bailey Cadamarteri 4 Michael Smith 2.5 George Byers 2 Juan Delgado 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Djeidi Gassama 0.5 Josh Windass 0.5
  21. A clean sheet at Preston for our first point. With a couple of defensive formation changes how to distribute the point is a little complicated. The easy part is 0.2 for Dawson, Ihiekwe and Bernard as they played the 90 minutes at keeper and centre half respectively. Famewo did 35 minutes at centre half., so is due 0.1 as is Palmer for his final 24 minutes there. By my calculation Valentin and Johnson should get 0.15 as they did 59 minutes as wing backs (0.05) and 31 minutes as full backs (0.1); but all that adds up to 1.1 - therefore I’m giving Valentin and Johnson 0.1. If the accountants on here can tell me where I went wrong here then I’m all ears. The easy bit is that Johnson’s strike added the other two points, and that he also gets the same in Meaningful Goals. Who Got Us The Points Anthony Musaba 5 Marvin Johnson 4.1 Michael Smith 2 Bailey Cadamarteri 2 Di’shon Bernard 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Cameron Dawson 0.8 Bambo Diaby 0.6 Michael Ihiekwe 0.5 Dominic Iorfa 0.45 Akin Famewo 0.4 Liam Palmer 0.4 Reece James 0.2 Devis Vasquez 0.2 Calum Paterson 0.15 Juan Delgado 0.1 Pol Valentin 0.1 Meaningful Goals Anthony Musaba 10 Bailey Cadamarteri 4 Marvin Johnson 4 Michael Smith 2.5 George Byers 2 Juan Delgado 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Barry Bannan 1 Lee Gregory 1 Jeff Hendrick 1 Josh Windass 0.5
  22. Red cards in successive games, with Byers getting his marching orders at Preston. There were yellows for Musaba and Dawson. Bambo Diaby 9 Akin Famewo 9 Will Vaulks 9 Barry Bannan 8 Callum Paterson 7 Di’shon Bernard 5 Anthony Musaba 5 Liam Palmer 5 Josh Windass 5 George Byers 4 Juan Delgado 4 Lee Gregory 4 Liam Palmer 4 Pol Valentin 4 Cameron Dawson 3 Jeff Hendrick 3 Djeidi Gassama 2 Tyreeq Bakinson 1 Dominic Iorfa 1 Marvin Johnson 1 Michael Smith 1 Devis Vasquez 1 Malik Wilks 1
