We had some young lads who had potential and grew as the season went on and we had people like myself who needed to kickstart their career." That should be our blueprint for next season! No continual worrying about the opposition and changing tactics, and a team/squad with a blend of youth and experience. And maybe having a squad of players to pick from who are fit more often than they’re injured would be a nice bonus as well!

Yep, he’s absolutely spot on in relation to our early 90’s side, but I’m sure I’d have given him a game in front of the likes of Danny Sonner, as we slid down the PL and out of it without so much as a whimper!

Can’t argue with any of them - read earlier today that Spurs might be after bringing in Foster as cover - shame if so as he’s better than a bench warmer. Jutkiewicz would be a great signing.

Thing with Hutch is that he’s versatile and can play in more than one position. He was certainly worth retaining for that reason alone. Then there’s his experience and potential to become a valuable member of our back room staff. I think the club have made a mistake not offering him another 12 months - unless of course Hutch has something lined up and has indicated his desire to move on from S6. Definitely been a great servant to SWFC and will be missed by many!

Boring as fuck and both teams look shit - although I’m sure had we got there we’d have managed to fuck it up against both sides! Just pisses me off - watching those two sides just makes me think, yet again, that it’s criminal we didn’t go up automatically. Cheers DM!

I think DM has earned his keep for next season, but it has to be nothing short of automatic promotion. Anything less, unless he gets us up through the playoffs, then it’s adios mate! One thing I would like to know a bit more about, is what the actual fuck is happening at board level? Is there any direction coming from the top, because if there is it can’t be very much. I’m not overly interested in the operational side of things at the club (far cry from the DA days I know), but have we even had a statement from DC giving his thoughts about how our season ended and/or where we go from here? Piss poor if not!
