Wife, daughter and her boyfriend all cleared out of the house. Big tv to myself, surround sound turned up and a fridge full of various IPA’s. And a bottle of wine in reserve if needed. Nervous as fook! Come on Wednesday!

Squeaky bum time!

A young kid who acted on the (poor) advice of others to better and further his career. I can’t hold that against him, plus life is too short. If he’s good enough and fits into what the gaffer wants to strengthen the squad and add something to the team, then why not?

The thing what sticks in my throat with Moore, which is a criticism of him, is that his messing about with team changes and tactics has cost us points this season, and given we were just 6 points from automatic portion, he has to take some responsibility for that. But I do agree with the consensus that he does deserve praise as well - some of the stuff we’ve played this season has been sublime - and we’ve also learned to get back up off the canvas and fight for a win after going behind, a quality which had been missing for far too long from Wednesday sides of the past. I think overall I’d give him a 7.5/10 this season. But if we go up I’ll up that to 8.5/10. 😊

That kid chucking stuff on the pitch can’t have been older than 6 - and every fucker just stood there and watched him do it, even the stewards. Where the fuck was the adult(s) who brought him to the game? Unbelievable! Fucking horrible club with even more horrible supporters.

This one for me. Even the Geordies applauded it, despite it as good as condemning them to relegation (and us staying up). I think Dean Barrick made his debut for us that day - didn’t do bad either with a goal and an assist if my memory serves me right.

I went to that one - drove all the way to Kilmarnock and back, same day, just for a friendly that finished 0-0. I must have been mental - especially as I drove up early so that the lads could have a few beers.

No Hunt and Byers on the bench. Still a decent starting XI though. Hope we get at them from the off!
