Rotherham v Birmingham game stopped after 8 minutes due to a medical incident in the home end. Game still not resumed 10 minutes later. Not a fan of Rotherham in the slightest, but hope that the supporter who has taken unwell is ok.

Tomorrow is St. Sheridan’s Day (33years) - hope that will be a lucky omen for us!

I was a bit too young for that game but the older Wednesday lads often reminisce about it. As you’ve said, Wednesday were everywhere. 12,000 of us out of a crowd of 26,000 - must have been incredible. Weren’t we losing at halftime as well, then came back to win it in the second half. I’d give anything for a similar result on Sunday! Although in saying that I’d prefer a much more comfortable scoreline in our favour, just to avoid more mental torture!

I don’t think it’s over yet either, but I still look back to Millwall at home and Huddersfield away in horror. I thought even back then that if we were to go down, those were the two games that rammed a couple of nails in our relegation coffin. It wasn’t just losing to them, it’s what it did for our (and their) goal difference. But while there’s still points to play for, we’re still in with a chance to stay up. I wrote us off after Peterborough away in the playoffs last season and we know what happened then. Plus when do Wednesday ever do anything the easy way?
