Solid first half and deservedly in the lead. If our final ball and crossing was better we could be out of sight! Hopefully we’ll play as well in the second half. That second goal would be nice!

I agree with the consensus that our squad is good enough, and I also agree that we shouldn’t sign players for the sake of it. I just think it’s the injuries and lack of cover at centre back which worries me, otherwise I wouldn’t have any major concerns over not bringing new faces in - and it isn’t lost on me, as again has been stated, that we haven’t lost any players either, as was thought might happen. Maybe the fact our next two league games are versus Plymouth and Ipswich, both of which have strengthened, is also giving me the jitters. I suppose I should really have more confidence in our squad.

If I was to be critical I’d say that we had plenty of time to get our house in order and deals should have been sniffed out before the window even opened. Let’s face it, Plymouth and Ipswich didn’t exactly hang about did they? If we do fail to go up automatically then I’m afraid yes, I’ll be one of those looking at this transfer window and asking questions. But if it has no bearing and we do go up, I’ll gladly hold my hands up, call it a master stroke and eat another slice of humble pie.

What do these whinging twats do at half-time, when the back of every football stand in the country is ‘wedged’ with supporters? I hope Wednesday tell them to fuck off, wankers!

Steady first half. Wasn’t the easiest finish from Johnson, could easily have ballooned it over the bar given the pace the cross came at him. Hopefully get the second and put it to bed early on in the second half.

Agree with Skamp, this current Arsenal side are great on the eye and brilliant to watch. First half they made Spurs look like a bunch of muppets. Got a bit savoury after the final whistle. If they carry on playing like that then you’re probably looking at the next PL Champions.

It just irks on me that whilst Harry’s being hung, drawn and quartered by the press at every opportunity (admittedly he’s brought this latest episode on himself), that ***** Prince Andrew can just ‘disappear’ into the woodwork and is seemingly forgotten about - he’s the one who should be hounded day in, day out by the press until he’s behind bars!

Feel the same, we’ve definitely moved on a bit and look far more resilient in the last few games - getting pissed off with all the “where are the Moore haters” posts on social media though. Ive never hated Moore, but if you haven’t questioned anything in relation to his team choices, formations, tactics, style of play and substitutions this season then you’re either fucking stupid or blind because of the rose tinted. I’ve questioned Moore on many, many occasions and have openly stated that I don’t believe he’s the man to take us up automatically - but that doesn’t mean I’d love to be wrong and tucking into a large slice of humble pie at the end of the season.

Doing my fucking head in is this now. We ought to spend some money on doing up the triangle between North Stand and West Stand and put all away supporters in there. And hope it fucking rains every game!
