  1. In the Meslier scenario presumably he was stood on the edge of his area facing up the pitch as Gnonto put the ball in the net. His choice was to turn and head to the Kop byline punching the air and waving his fists at the home fans. Perhaps he forgot which end he was at. I just thought what an arse as would the vast majority but there will always be Nuplties that react. Odds are the bottle will have been thrown by 16 year old Stoney wearing Youths. Not defending the Numbskulls but its cause and effect disappointingly.
  2. I neither would throw a bottle if being would up in a pub. Anyway I'm a real ale man. Apologies if looking to condone but again a flashpoint has occurred after a player has engaged with the crowd. Kasey Palmer repeatedly did this and Meslier went beyond celebrating a goal. He could easily have run to the edge of the box and punched the air in the direction of his celebrating team mates but chose to 'celebrate' in the other direction. There are unfortunately many Numpties who will react. Its a societal issue not a Wednesday one. Would be looking at video footage and banning any culprit. If a minor their parents need to be made aware. As an aside OT are already blaming Chansiri for cost cutting on Stewards and Policing.
  3. Agree these Numpties need to stop being absolute cocks - if it was my lad chucking a bottle of Pepsi would get a proper f**king. Also players like Meslier need to stop being arses and blatantly winding the crowd up. All for banter but he was goading.
  4. This is one of the areas that I would agree with. The ridiculously early early bird and subsequent short timescale and number of phases. Saying that I have a moan and then buy one. Just think it brings criticism for something that could be so much better laid out. No real issues with pricing if buying in the first phase. It should just be a longer period. Re the Pay Pal scenario this worked for me as been able to purchase 3 tickets on 4 month interest free. My other main criticism which many would agree with is not building a team to truly run the Club from a business, commercial and footballing aspect. Undoubtedly this would have managed the ground sale better. However we all know the character of DC which means this does not happen and subsequently any protest in my opinion will not have the desired effect.
  5. So the issue re Chansiri being across the North Stand seating has been kindly explained for the hard of thinking and the reasons behind it. The omission of players from the Squad is mainly down to Manager preference along with I believe players not wanted to follow the roles given - Johnson switching wings and Gregory pressing effectively. The James scenario is simple enough as part of the loan to buy arrangement and neither incoming Manager fancying him. Next on the leaflet list .......
  6. I know but that's a full week away. Must have been more to do with playing Saturday and Tuesday.
  7. What really saddened me walking under the South Stand and queuing to get in was the number of young children carrying these bloody leaflets. Their stupid parents should be ashamed.
  8. Really fancied us for a win tonight and first half we were decent. Their movement was beginning to worry me. Gutted when the first came and numerous switching off. Second half and we really began to see the gulf once they stepped up the gears. The difference between the squads highlighted when they bring James on and we bring Wilks.
  9. Lets get at them from the off. Just no daft passing round at the back for first 15.
  10. From Facebook earlier. Ricky in his younger days.
  11. The mini bus driver kept the Gabrielle cassette ! We eventually put Ricky on the Number 57 bus to Sheffield.
  12. He came and sat with us in The Beekeeper in Hillsborough before the Bristol City match a few weeks ago. Was same old Ricky - blotto, firstly questioning if we were Wednesday and then once happy we were kept saying We're all Wednesday. My other Ricky memory is an Oldham away game many years ago he got on our mini bus and refused to get off. As we were going to Stocksbridge he ended up with us in the pubs there for a couple of hours. Remember him having a Gabrielle album in his pocket on cassette and made us play it in the mini bus ! RIP Ricky.
  13. My Wife is going to that so she can do one when on about wasting money watching Wednesday. Hey youuuu guuuuyyyysss !!
  14. Really looking forward to this one and think we could be on for another win to further enhance the legend of Danny Rohl.
  15. As an aside thought it was another decent refereeing performance last night from Stephen Martin, coming on the back of the performance by the Ref in the Bristol City game. Thought he has been good other times I have seen him. * Awaits Reesh to pluck out some obscure decision from the past 😃
  16. Loved the Ihiekwe performance as I do most weeks. Hard to believe that one of the Diaby Chuckle Brothers was playing in front of him. A proper Mesters performance from him last night. Watched him closely for a few mins in first half and he never stops talking, marshalling and adjusting his position to accommodate. Proper throw back really and a bit similar to how Loovans was.
  17. Upcoming gigs for me ........ Red Rum Club - Dirty Leeds Stylus The Mary Wallopers - Dirty Leeds O2 Academy The K's - Foundry Weller - City Hall Sam Scherdel - Foundry Studio
  18. Are the 1867 Numpties handing out their flyers again tonight ? I was away for the Birmingham game so looking forward to ripping it up and handing back to them. Childish ? Yes, of course.
  19. Anyone else feel kind of let down it was only 6. Luckily I only watched the first half.
  20. Biggest game of season this. Win and its on big style and the momentum will be immense into the Leeds fame.
  21. Foden, De Bruyne, Rodri and Silva are some players. Bizarrely technically Haarland is the weak link. Had a bet with Half Pint three years ago that Foden would win the Balon D'or. How it is still a conversation that he is not a guaranteed starter for England is beyond me.
