Lad I work with went to a walking football session last week in Rotherham. Said only 4 turned up so he is trying to enlist me. Might give it a go. Passing is probably the best part of me game when I play five a side so might be the game for me.

Not competitive but play five a side twice a week. One game mix of ages from 18 to 60 and other game Dads v Lads. So late 40's to late 50's against 18 to 23 year old. Proper tough game that.

Main Road was the worst I had encountered for missiles. One year darts were thrown over.

I also emailed DC regarding the short notice and the number of phases. As I was annoyed at the short timescale I did stretch the truth a little and say I was struggling to be able to pay for three tickets in the timescale given for phase 1. He replied and advised as I had had a season ticket for many years he would put me in touch with Alastair and arrangements would be made to assist. That nasty nasty evil Chansiri ! In the end I renewed through Paypal which I use for many transactions using the excellent 4 month interest free option.
