  1. Bannan very much looked like a player with time catching up on him rapidly last night. Not helped by having Palmer next to him and acres of space for the Norwich midfield.
  2. It is rare I get angry about Wednesday. I think it is ingrained in me just to take it and move on. However, I am still fuming at that first half. From the god awful lack of ability back 4, to the ageing wide open centre midfield to the lacklustre can't be arsed 'forward / playmaker / Balon D'or contender' (Windass). I do excuse Beadle from the criticism as think if he has the defenders with better / any ability on the ball he can play the passing game at the back. Plus he made a few cracking saves to stop it being more Message to Danny Rohl - our players are not as good as you believe against the better sides. Pick your team and formations accordingly. On the plus side he changed things drastically and it paid off to a certain extent.
  3. I said to my mate Wilko needed to be giving the half time team talk. That first half is on Rohl. For how good he has been he has dropped a few with dodgy line ups and formations. That back four and the tactics employed were up there with the worst I have seen at any level. These players are paid professionals and cannot control or pass a ball. If I never see Bambo kick a ball again it will be too soon. As for the midfield of Bannan and Palmer. F@@k me that's as bad as it gets in this Division as a two , coupled with the non entity that is Windass. Onto the second half and will definitely take the point. Inspired by Pato. If fit every line up should have him in. Probably my favourite 'limited' player ever. Honourable mention to Smith and young Bailey who released his inner Pato. Finally how does Pol V not get in the starting line up.
  4. What the fook have I just seen with Windass. What a clearance from a yard !
  5. I'm sure a fair number will have purchased season tickets in May 2023 as a vehicle to gain priority for Wembley tickets and also a number will have purchased upon promotion. Its the reality of Championship v League One.
  6. Think KM's valuation is certainly more realistic with regards the current state of the club, squad and infrastructure but as we know Chansiri may see this totally different and the value is more what someone is willing to pay. The squad has very few assets aside from the potential of the younger elements of the squad. The ground probably has a low value as anything other than a Football Ground even as a commercial of residential plot. The cost of works required on the ground probably far outweighs the value of it. Heard a couple of months ago that extensive work is required particularly on the North. Middlewood Road - do we own the training ground or is this leased from the Council ? If leased again little value. Ultimately for any Buyer the bulk of the value would be for owning Sheffield Wednesday FC and its history. I'm not anti Chansiri but do feel his value of the Club and the costs to improve virtually everything would put any serious Buyer off especially without any true connection to the Club when other options are available to purchase which are probably on a firmer footing. What does stand us in good stead is we are debt frre seemingly.
  7. Does this include the sales of Fofana, Maddison and Barnes ? If so that is eye-watering.
  8. Great addition to the Kit Thread Owling 😃
  9. He tripped on a chicken leg in Meadowhall Nandos and banged his knee.
  10. Wide open again in the middle. Surprised Musaba survived from Saturday.
  11. The Blades disallowed goal is everything that is so wrong, but so right at the same time about VAR.
  12. What would happen to Pulse & Cocktail ? Asking for a friend.
  13. If we were to build a new ground realistically where would it go ? Not that I want us to move. I would definitely want it to be the same side of the City but the more open brown filed sites spill onto Barnsley and Rotherham boundaries.
  14. Nearly bankrupt aren't they ? Massive council tax increases to bail them out ?
