  1. Unsure if you've seen this Bradders https://www.fearthewall.com/2022/8/9/23297988/further-details-revealed-in-nico-schulz-domestic-abuse-allegations-bvb-borussia-dortmund If it's true (from further reading) that he attacked his girlfriend kicking her womb whilst wishing the unborn to die... well Strange how times change. I remember the outrage over the possiblity of Lee Hughes signing for us before he went to Notts County
  2. Out of interest, when did Mason Holgate have monkey noises aimed at him during the 5-0 defeat to Brighton? Or is there any video evidence of a fan calling him the same name a supporter clearly calls Kasey Palmer in a West Ham United bloggers youtube video? I assume you've put him there due to what's happened this weekend?
  3. I'm old enough to remember having to drive through Newbury on that road instead of the bypass The A14, A406, A31 and A35 give the A34 a good run for its money as worst road of the UK.
  4. Thanks Leicester for taking it easy second half. Unsure if that was instructions from their captain or they were just happy with the 3 points.
  5. It was a deserved victory in the end. Came out wanting that second goal instead of sitting back like last season. Got it and then controlled the game till the end. Helped by Birmingham giving up when we made it 2-0.
  6. Deserved that second from the way we've started
  7. Unsure what to make of that half We look quite dangerous when going forward. Ugbo was unlucky not to make it 2 just before half time But defensively, we are giving them the freedom of both wings. So many times they have got down the wing with both our full backs giving them so much space. I hope I'm wrong but I would be amazed if we keep a clean sheet. We need another goal at least
  8. Terrible decision was not taking Fulham or Newcastles £12,000,000 to £15,000,000 offer for him Sell that little cry baby for a huge amount of profit. That money could have gone on players that would have improved the team like Matt Phillips from QPR, Henri Lansbury from Forest (him and Keiran Lee in a mdifield) John Egan from Gillingham or Shane Duffy from Blackburn and possibly test Hull with a bid for Mo Diame (he went to Newcastle that season). In the end we give him a three and a half year contract for refusing to go on the team bus because he was "part of the family" I know he didn't want to leave but Tom Lees would have been replacable if we took Burnleys £5,000,000. John Egan went to Brentford from Gillingham for around £400,000 I think.
  9. Awwww, they need a go fund me https://www.gofundme.com/f/birmingham-bristol-city-protests?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer Funny how angry they were when there was an alleged go fund me set up to pay the tax owed
  10. Thank goodness that's over, two very poor sides on show tonight. 0-0 is probably a true reflection of the game. Quite frankly that open goal they missed and Smiths awful header summed up the quality both sides have up front. One of those games where both sides could have been playing till Saturday and neither team would score. It wasn't like either side tried to give each other the win with some questionable defending and some poor decisions in the middle leading to chances. Point is the only positive from this evening, given we lost a similar game this season at home to Caerdydd in the league
  11. How on earth did he not decide to take a touch there Bernard got away with that big time
  12. The Wednesday fan there shouted penalty with that Watford player falling over Brilliant!!!!
  13. Aaah the difference was two 50 million pound players Wait a minute.... Both players were signed for 8 million and 17 million by Palace when purchased Yet both more of a bargain than spending 20 million on McBurnie and 25 million on non scoring Brewster Awww poor little Cwissy. Off you go and look at your ham and cucumber sandwich reflection!
  14. If there's one club that you wonder why the hate, Watford is one of those I certainly haven't forgotten their supporters behaviour on the old rivals board after the two lads' tragic car accident after Coventry many years ago.
  15. You would have thought that after what happened on Saturday, this gesture was because of that word racism and a player being subjected to racist abuse, not to do with any other "woke" nonsense. Sadly our National Front members thought otherwise.
  16. You've either been accustomed to the Owlstalk politics section or have had the unfortunate experience of listening to an Owen Jones podcast Because it's well known that what you wrote there is incorrect. Of course non white people can be racist I'll provide a couple of examples but I must warn you of the content. It's a tough listen https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/face-woman-who-told-man-20146971 https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-34549590 Plus there's the likes of Naz Shah believing 'raped white girls should shut up for the sake of diversity' and some of the language Suella Braverman has used against those naughty individuals coming on boats.
  17. My goodness, another 'known name' gone. Matt used to play football on Tuesday nights with us for a short time. Quite a quiet kid but seemed to be a hit with the ladies as he always had 2 or 3 coming to watch him play in our side. Him and a lad called Simon were a big help for Mike who had troubles back then but thankfully got through and is alive and well with a family of 2. Then last I heard from him, he was doing a lot of running with his brother. I think they did a lot of charity fund raising via 1/2 marathons or full marathons. That was a really tough read. Gutted for his family and would have never thought 17 years on from those football days, this would happen Thoughts are with the family
  18. Do you not remember last season? Do you not remember what happened to Darren Moore throughout most of his time at Hillsborough Not just that disgusting tweet after the Peterborough game, but the constant mocking he suffered from the fan base with his speech. The chairman as well https://uk.news.yahoo.com/sheffield-wednesday-fan-banned-vile-142115889.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAGtQGuikkynBKx79RgArJ1Xg7bbdUQafuHJvby3r0FFfnqG2pYA5Qx2_T5AM4NuFadbCJGAo2LpcECV750-Gq90JMM1wUleYXwlYm_nVUoc3r-bBh3rGExwLRpuf3kLRM8zOrJLgK1h_HtNVUmQaEJjXX1kQZuJqdEoIB-oC1m9- This season so far Munoz was told to eff off back to Spain by the WTID person who wrote the Palmer tweet. Plus we've had the Sunderland incident. It's getting the coverage it thoroughly deserves. Also, there's been plenty of bans and coverage for racist abuse this season. That Crystal Palace fan for example that abused Son, the Wolves fan that abused Rio Ferdinand etc.
  19. 7 minutes 43 seconds to 7 minutes 51 seconds. 2024 and that sort of language is being used, pathetic. Wonder if he called Robert Snodgrass a f*****g white c**t? Nope, thought not. What a waste of sperm.
  20. This has been a tough day! Reading the daily update that Hollie posted today was gutwrenching, heart breaking, you name it, that was it. I knew it was coming given that photo before Christmas but even still, its' so upsetting. This is a gentleman that if there were 500,000,000 more of, the world would be a happier place. He brought joy, smiles, happiness, fun and so much entertainment to the world. Man I wish his sat-nav would work for one final time so that he could do a very long road trip to his new life via Charlies 16th Birthday. Sleep tight Steve Morris and thank you.
  21. Thoroughly enjoyed Joseph Parker give Wilder a lesson on how to box properly.
  22. As always with this side, there's going to be a goal for the opposition due to an absolute brain fart Caerdydd got an early Christmas present from us today. That 2nd goal is embarrassing to concede The decision making in the penalty area as well was shocking attack wise.
