I'm looking forward to this game.

My lineup would be:
Dawson
Heneghan, Iorfa, Palmer
Brown, Alex Hunt, Vaulks, FDB, Pato
Wilks,  Sow

Tough call on the line up as I’d like to see Saturday’s back three rested along with Palmer, but who comes in? So…

Dawson

Iorfa Henegan Galvin

(I’d like to see Agbontohoma get a chance but I’ve no idea if he’s stepped up from a dodgy game v Harrogate last season. And would he suit the left side?)

Palmer, FDB, Vaulks Hunt, Brown

(Left side looks a bit weak, so maybe put Henegan to the left behind Brown).

Paterson, Sow.

  • Reesh changed the title to The Owls vs. The Dale Match Thread (correct title this time???)

Looking at the post with previous games.

Remember the 2012 game well. An insipid 0-0 draw, while the Pigs were winning 2-0 against Oldham, pissed that they were opening a bigger points gap. Quite happy to see them throw it away 3-2 with Shefki Kuqi getting a last minute winner!

And Kieran Lee on the scoresheet too.

As far as I found out, there is neither ifollow nor Sky coverage.

They had one of the pre-season games on the youtube channel. I guess they are not allowed to do it for the Carabao cup.

The first round of the cup was on ifollow video archive on the NEXT DAY.

Yeah, Sunderland was on Sky wasn't it?

Yep.

Carabao allowed streaming on their website of the early rounds in the past but when it is ten quid a ticket they won't be wanting it streamed.

Wasn't it on Youtube last round Terry? My memory gets worse, there was one game put on the SWFC Youtube channel but I can't remember which one now.😂

Nah. Not the carabao cup mate. It was on Sky the last round.

Jay Glover's profile on the OS says he's a box-to-box midfielder, but by the way the teamsheet is laid out he's playing right wing back today.

Could have gone to a 4.
