Expected this game to be Saturday lunchtime live game.

4000+ Leeds fans on the booze all day Friday, last time we played Friday night one drunken drugged up Leeds fan walked on to pitch to slap our goalkeeper Chris Kirkland.

That's the second Owls game the Sky wankers have moved THAT WEEK!   😡

Tbf Plymouth game would have had to been moved to Tuesday night even if not chosen by Sky unless we fancied playing Wednesday and Friday.

That wasn't the case when they moved the Plymouth game, was it?

I don't think it was though I knew about Leeds game being moved last Monday, not sure why its taken so long to be officially announced by club.

Had I still been living in the UK this would be a reason why I wouldnt buy a season ticket. A 6 hour round trip on a Friday night or mid-week (on a regular basis) is just not practicle. MK is saying something similar on the early bird thread.

My mate's lad can't go now. Prior binding commitment.

Yeah the 1-1 where Reach and Klich swapped worldies.  Leeds fans smashed up a tram before the game so all trans stopped running and everyone had to walk into town.  Was interesting having a pint in The Ship while the Main Leeds escort came past.

Does anybody know how to get a ticket for this match without having bought a ticket before through the SWFC website? Ticket office told me over the phone to send an email to request a ticket, since the match doesn't appear to ID holders who have never made a ticket purchase before. So far, I haven't gotten a reply.

Is there a workaround for this? I'm travelling to the UK from Germany for a few days and really looked forward to support the Owls in that match. Any help is appreciated. Cheers!

They'll be having a lot of requests at moment suspecting it's Leeds fans trying to purchase tickets for home areas of stadium.

Same situation Rotherham United are having with our fans wanting tickets for game on Saturday.

Yeah this is what I thought, too. Maybe it's not an ideal match to visit for the first time. Sad times.

You could be a Leeds fan!

I guess there are plenty of Leeds fans who have bought a ticket through the website before and get access to buying a ticket for the match. In fact, you could just probably go see the upcoming Plymouth match and then unlock your account for any further ticket purchases.

What I'm trying to say, there is no way for the ticket office to fully exclude Leeds fans from buying home tickets for this match.

If I get a ticket though, I'll buy you a pint before the match so you can see that I'm no Leeds supporter, lol.

Wow, people are so friendly here to newcomers.

Please feel free to leave a review on Tripadvisor.

If you can tell me the name of Josh Windass' pet rabbit to verify you are an Owl I will get you a ticket with my ID.

Talking of Friday nights, Sky had Leicester v Southampton set for Friday 15th March but that has gone by the wayside due to Leicester reaching the FA Cup QFs

Word is Sky may want a replacement game shoved in there at short notice - if they want one affecting both ends of the table then us at Ipswich might appeal

Hope nobody's made plans/booked trains😬

Isn't there still notification time limits or does it basically disappear once March is here

Think I’ve read before that Sky can insist on it being on with five(?) weeks notice, anything less than that and the clubs need to agree; but the money they offer is too much for clubs to turn down.
