Just looked at the table when we played the game in 2010 and who the other struggling teams were………

Away points seem very hard to come by with this team. So anything would be welcome. If we were to stay up i’d envisaged it being wins at home and the odd point/win away from home. But given what happened the other day it feels like we need to recoup that with one of those bonus results today. Coventry are a side hard to predict as they’ve been poor at times but nailed Sunderland only a few days ago and are most likely  now on form as ours has suddenly stuttered. Can we play two goal keepers?

It's the Championship, trying to predict anything is never straightforward. The important thing is we can generally match teams, which wasn't the case. Whether it's enough to get a result is whether we do that, a mistake, moment of skill, the ref etc etc

It's the only division I know you could go unbeaten for 10, then not win for 10.

Not sure what Dawson can do to stop that. Poor from Byers though, pitiful attempt at stopping the cross.

Its been fairly even to be honest, our issue has been the ball in from wide, particularly from Vaulks, Coventry are happy to allow us to cross.

Our midfield 3 are being utterly outplayed by 10&7. Nobody anywhere near them

So last 5 / 10 mins slightly better. Get the ball in their fucking half, turn their defenders and give them something to concern them. And please can we stop with the shitting about at the back. Worse than not helping attacking wise, it constantly puts us under pressure 40 yards from our goal.

I can't believe after Paterson being down for so long we didn't have a sub ready to come on, and then concede whilst we've got 10 men on the pitch. We were doing ok up to that point.

Yeah, it wasn't a surprise Pato would come off. Getting up groggier than someone after 14 Xmas beers.

How to lose a game in a moment.  It was obviously a head injury, being looked at for ages. Why did we not even start to get Musaba match dressed and ready until Pato was actually off the pitch & down the tunnel?  I can't say that being down to ten players for several minutes cost us the goal but it certainly won't have helped. Absolutely amateurish.

More generally, wtf is wrong with our marking today?  The amount of times, particularly since the goal, that they've accurately passed to completely unmarked players in miles of space is frightening. And it's on both wings.  The gulf between the teams since the goal has been scary.  That said, it looked like Byers could or should have scored just before h.t. with a free header from Marv's cross. We're looking down so difficult to judge relative heights though.

Sadly there is zero option to change it from the bench

You can see the difference between a side that are well established in the Championship, flirted with the play offs and are strong in most positions.

The weak links in our squad are very evident in comparison

Didn't get over the header - should have hit the target
