HoylandOwl Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Interesting comment from the opposition gaffer Jon Dahl Tomasson... “Sheffield Wednesday are getting better and better. They have really good stats now. They created 4-5 big chances against Leicester and should have won against Birmingham. But if we do the right things, we can be confident we’ll do well." 1 Quote
Hirstys 12th Pint Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 (edited) When was the last time we played Premier League winners on the bounce ? Edited December 1, 2023 by Hirstys 12th Pint Quote

Tank_Owl2,0 Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) Going to be interesting if we can keep the performances coming, or its going to be after the high of Wednesdays late equaliser we cant perform again. Not losing today would still be progress, but IF the slender hope of survival is going to be grasped its wins that will change the feel of the place. Edited December 2, 2023 by Tank_Owl2,0 Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Still can't fathom how Dawson & Diaby are getting in the 1st team but then again I'm not Rohl.... COME ON WEDNESDAY Quote

mkowl Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Chuffed for Cadamateri. Smart finish as well. Not sure we can keep a clean sheet today. Blackburn creating decent chances but we having some decent efforts as well from distance. Getting fresh legs into midfield may be a factor in this Quote
owl4ever1867 Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 They've just said in the stream, that David Pleat had a chance to re-sign Roland Nillson but he (Pleat) said that he wouldn't have the legs, so that's why he signed for Big Ron at Coventry..... Jesus... Quote

mkowl Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Easily the best performance this season. Not only winning but getting a 2nd wind after conceding. Feared the worse at that stage but made us come forward and put them back under pressure. And we are creating chances and now taking them What a difference Quote
Beaconowl Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Really happy with that and the Pigs getting another hammering is lovely icing on the cake Quote

Hopefully that win is the catalyst...if we are around 6-7 points off 4th bottom by 1st Jan then we can do this. Next 2 are Stoke away and QPR home. So definitely games we could win and ones that would narrow a gap on potential clubs we could reel in Quote
Lee Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 (edited) Blackburn won 3-0 at Stoke last weekend. I said on leicester thread oh for back to back wins, the lift of today's win against an in form team (won 6 of last 😎should be immense and we can go to Stoke with genuine hope of a win. Well played DR and the team. We WILL stay up Edited December 2, 2023 by Lee The sunglasses should read 8 )!!! Quote
TheExile Posted December 2, 2023 Posted December 2, 2023 Great week could have easily been 6 points. Still seems an absolute chasm of a gap but with those three getting off the mark it at least gives a few attackers some confidence which has been a huge issue when it comes to fine margins. Got to win our home games Quote
