The papajohns was the most likely way we would win a cup at Wembley.  Don't count the scraped 3rd in the 3rd division Cup.  I enjoyed the papajohs. Sue me

Not sure anyone will sue you, but I've a fair feeling Walks might ban you 😆

Prepared to be told differently but I can only think one season where we got anywhere in the tinpot cup and we lost to Blackpool I seem to recall in the semi final. So it hardly a great track record we’ve had, which is partly why I could never got to interested bc the club has never seemed to take it serious.

Didn’t we get beat by them four times that season?

Ooh, no no no!

I clearly remember us on 'here' telling all their raiding fans that we'd beaten them four times instead!  🤣

Was an awful game, 21,390 turned up for it. If anyone can name our sub keeper that night then you've got a better memory than me, and without googling!

Ok, I Googled.

Would never have guessed that chap. I do remember his name though, unlike Adam Chambers??

That was some squad! 😮

Wasn't it Rob Poulter?

I travelled that season to a few games with his sister Sara (Chesterfield, Stockport and Grimsby).
