  1. As you'd expect Stalk is full of shit. Dont get me wrong it's not a great result but it's far from disaster. Losing Tuesday will be. Today was never going to be easy or pretty. That why I didn't watch it bc I knew unless I was there watching on TV or listening just gets me seething with the way Wycombe go about their business, at least when you are there you can let off steam and support the team. Its still in our hands.
  2. Mmmmm. Dunkley is completely focused on the ball, the defender isn't even looking in that direction. Homer ref decision. All I'd say is Dunkleys left arm is up and around the defenders neck, but the feckin defender has full on arms around Dunkley. So it's either 50/50 - so no decision or a pen. Put it another way if Dunkley just kept his arms down and let the defender wrestle him what chance we'd get a pen - 0%, so what is this or any ref expecting him to do. How many refs have we seen giving pens to away team in these situations- unless it's Manure or victims etc. Just confirms how shit the Refs in L1 are and how the inconsistency is.
  3. BDM That League Cup win at Villa was certainly surprising The 5-0 battering at home to Everton losing to Florists in90
  4. I've not seen any of the game but I'd imagine if we'd scored first it goes without saying the course of the game would surely have been different and they would have at least modified their approach if not changed totally. A mate of mine who probably hasn't seen Wednesday in years messaged me earlier and said we were shading it first half and probably looked more likely. Which I'm guessing could have poured more pressure on them if they had gone behind etc. its disappointing but it no disaster, Tuesday is huge though, it could be pivotal for DM.
  5. Some excellent suggestions. i know we won 4-0 in the BDM but Mellors goal that put us on our way was pretty good and I think it raised the home support. Alos what about TC at the stain. soz they are mentioned!
  6. Well we need a win on Tuesday or at least don’t lose. Fleetwood are still in the dog fight at the bottom. They equalised in the 88th against Wimbledon, who have admittedly improved but tbh if we can’t at least get a point there we don’t deserve to be in the POs. Im thinking a Sunderland - Rotherham draw might be the best outcome for us on Tuesday bc it keeps Sunderland in the PO scrap and MK need to beat Plymouth on the final day for any chance of autos. We obviously need to beat Portsmouth which is going to be a test but again doable and we should be winning if we think we should be in the POs crazy amount of point for the POs this season
  7. I can see us catching the mini pigs the way things are going but for them and the fake dons to implode seems unlikely. Let’s just do our thing though and hope we can overhaul them. GD could come into play here. we need to beat Wycombe first then it could get interesting. I’m hoping if Dean isn’t fit DM goes with JS, Dunks and Gibson at the back, despite any Dunkley reservations
  8. There’s not many supporters that can say they’ve seen their team win a major trophy at Wembley (and against a team like Man U). It’s likely it will be even fewer the way things are going. What a day that was. That video of the day and the extended highlights of the game is special
  9. Last time I looked there was a note or something suggesting there could be engineering works, which put me off. If that is not likely then it's a bargain.
  10. I thought they would / will bring more than 2k.
  11. Must admit it raised an eyebrow for me. Always thought they were better than that, even if it's a mid day KO etc etc. It'll make for a better atmosphere
  12. Re Dyche, the thing is about Burnley fans griping about the style of football, he's been having to work with bargain basement for years. IF he'd spent millions on high quality players and they'd been playing hoofball ok. So, do they want pretty losing football, probably not in the Prem or functional football but in the Prem. It seems to me Dyche is the more modern Allardyce. Look what happened to Notlob after he left.
  13. Oxford having a sniff again makes some of these games a bit more interesting. Some of the teams battling at the bottom will also make some sweat. Im hoping we don't need anything from the last game play offs wise. However needing a win for autos could mean the place is buzzing, I see Pompey are only getting 2k tickets
  14. This looks like a list of players that weren't that good, mixed with some right bellends that it's was easy to dislike. I won't say I dislike the ones that weren't that good because it's not their fault the club signed them. However, the likes of De Bilde and Bothroyd are very easy to dislike because of their attitude
  15. Whilst I was worried about conceding tonight to make it 1-1 I was never really that worried because they were very poor. It was just more frustrating that we hadn't dispatched them earlier and left us worrying.
  16. I was referring to our financial overreaching, the team continued to do ok until Wilson took the reigns.
  17. Exactly what I was thinking walking away from the stadium tonight.
  18. We made hard work of that but 3point goes on to our total and it will say we won 1-0 in the papers tomorrow that's all that matters right now, particularly after the other results tonight and after the last few days. Some strange changes to the team tonight both from the start and during the game. I can understand taking Gregory off but the other changes are just a bit odd.
  19. There’s plenty thought that including ourselves in 1995-2000
  20. I’d take a point now and wins against Crewe and Pompey. Need at least a point from our trip to the seaside
  21. I'm hoping Plymouth can win at Wycombe on Saturday a) bc it does us a favour and b) it will put Roveram under even more pressure. obviously beating MK Dons would be fantastic but I feel we are at best going to get a draw. If Wycombe draw or lose Saturday would be a good outcome.
  22. I don't think I can agree with that. Berahino may not have scored a hatrick but Accrington were making hard for us. Gregory doesn't score every game so why should Berahino and if he's creating space or providing for other he doesn't need to. Jus wish he'd give them a run without changing. In the same way Byers, Luongo and Bannan are left alone even if one of them isn't quite at it.
  23. Always thought Stockdale was a decent keeper for Championship and he did well for WW when we played them. I've no idea what his contract situation is or his age but he might be a good signing alongside a younger signing. just checked he's 36, too old for what we need.
  24. Yes. Saw em against Italy a few years back 1-1 it finished if I recall. I also went to a game when I was much younger against an Eastern European team, I think it was a Czech team and it was boring, it was when Greenwood was the manager I think. I just don't feel any connection with them. Don't get me wrong I watch our games (mostly) when we get to the finals of the various competitions but that's it. The most I was ever interested was when we had a few players in the squad back in the 90s. No comparison to following Wednesday.
  25. Bloody hell, really hope Citeh don't mess this up now and let them scrubbers in. Reesh it's an almost certainty now re Crewe. TBH pressure or not, with our home form we should beat Crewe with no GK. I do think we need a point from the MK Dons game though.
