Okay, so curiosity got the better of me. The below is how the bottom of the championship looked after 35 games in 2012/13. This isn't necessarily a table that existed as it's how many points each side had after they played 35 games. Points totals a little higher than today above the relegation zone, but 4th/3rd/2nd bottom very comparable to today. At the end of the season, Peterborough were relegated on 54 points so it's not inconceivable that a similar total could be necessary this time.
