  2. I’ve said 10 games. Am 4 off that mark and 5 away from international break.

We pull off victories Tuesday and Saturday and Munoz pickup 3 points from the following 3 then I’ll not be calling for his head.

But we lose these next two .. then Chansiri needs to be sounding out Nathan Jones and Dean Smith with enticing offers! We can’t wait till November if we go into the second  international break with less than 9 points on the board!

  3. Westwood / Mcgugan / Hutchinson (x2) .. probably others I can’t recall.

A long history of this at clubs and with players.

I think the local journalist are more informed due to information coming from Derby - and their management team which they know very very well!

They were never this active other the other situations!

Deals brake down for many reasons and I’ve seen the tweets about wages and loan fees banded about.

  4. One other consideration. Lots of fans commenting it’s boring and move on… I agree.

But lots of these fans are also the ones who are majorly anti Chansiri and this disclosure  doesn’t help their narrative.

I’d argued in Facebook and Stalk similar assumption to that in the statement  based off information from here by Tylluan of his time at Donny. Lots disagreed with that info esp the anti Chansiri mob. Turns out very close to the released statement if I do say myself.

Let’s note Darren Moore sky interview occurred a few days before Cardiff away. It was at this game when the chants gained momentum. Lots of on the fence fed up fans got off the fence as result of the press coverage that week - that is fact!

Am hoping some of them get back on the fence but am not stupid this will depend on results!

Regards timing it is linked to Saturday and allowing us to enjoy the result at Leeds.

  5. Got involved in debate with the Rev singer on X .. he posted this list which contained the King of Thailand memorial and Elephants - I nicely pointed out that he should be a little ashamed of posting something containing that him being Mr anti racism and left wing. He blocked me!

Am bored today may find this list and do a thread on here lol

I disagree with your second point, I attended the majority of the steering group meetings and despite what points people made DC still was of the opinion that only outlay from the fans can drive the club forward, this still seems to be his mindset now, he doesn't (or doesn't want to) learn. We have nothing of the infrastructure that makes a club successful and he still keeps gambling on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow of the Premier League to solve all our problems. You have to wonder how many failed attempts/millions wasted will it be before he's had enough.

    Fair do’s

I mean off the top of my head infrastructure around the ground that’s improved to generate better revenue streams

    Wednesday Tap introduced

    Open days

    Fan zone 1.0

    Fan Zone 2.0

    Self manufactured kits (attempt)

Think their as always been function hire at the ground so that’s  not new

Cashless payments to reduced losses (granted not everyone’s cup of tea)

New pitch along with heating lamps

Not sure the above is revolutionary to be honest  but what else is there whereby construction companies are not required to do more?

I think 250 million + loss makes it pointless up to that point PL success pay him off financially and ego ! Lol

You seriously see our play as exciting @EBRA ?

“More exciting” than Moore approach yes ..  and the word “trying”

    I didn’t say achieved did I.

It’s not happening at the moment but the fact he’s trying to buy pace is a huge leap from the last 4 years.

Another way of reading his post match comments is that he’s asking to buy more strikers.

    1) the answer that its better than the past is not adequate to justify his running of the club. Has the quantum of the investment actually moved the Club forward.

    2) Social media amplifies everything i concur, but every supporter engagement event seems to make the situation worse. And that is before we get to ticket pricing

    3) And joining this all together, the dis-satisfaction levels are growing because the fans are not seeing progress. Indeed on the pitch the advances we made in terms of application and confidence seem to have been rapidly reversed.

I get Chansiri believes you cannot manage football in the same way as another business. That if you have inputs X then you can with a 95% degree of confidence predict the outcome Y. Far too many variables in football, but if part of the master plan is get rid of a manager that brought stability and positivity to the club, take 2 weeks to appoint a new guy, cobble together random new signings all in a new league, then you have to take responsibility for those actions when a dogs dinner arises.

For me its a fatigue with this type of club management, its not really conducive to making permanent strides forward.

Ok how do you benchmark answer 1 if not on previous ownership of SWFC? Do you benchmark it against the other 91 clubs? Because undoubtably we are better run than lots and not as good as lots and equal to lots. Then you have to set context and I revert back to historical ownership.

Otherwise we remain in the realm of a subjectivity to answer this question 🙂

    2) actually its only because people shout the negatives more than the positives from these events. This is shown in the inaccuracy of comments made post these events and they way people hear them. Previous owner didn’t care and treated us like mushrooms. Maybe that is indeed the best approach. Also we get lots of good social media content from within the club now. Again maybe the days of Green Un, fanzines and Praise Grumble hid the level of unhappiness, or prevented the loudest from repeating their point every hour on X, Facebook, Stalk etc…

    3) I agree - but they’re no guarantees in football. I am frustrated with this season but also can see us trying to play a more exciting system. I was happyish at Cardiff and first half yesterday I was like if we do this in championship no problem! But that quickly unravelled 2nd half.

Do you honestly think Moore would of been manager with full support of the supports come May 2024?

Really, I think the chansiri apologists have genuinely to ask themselves

    1) As the club moved forward in any way in the last 8.5 years

    2) As he created more issues than he has solved in terms of supporter engagement

    3) Do you have any confidence his latest master plan will succeed

I can safely say the evidence is not really in your favour

    1) In the sense that the problems facing the club are not the ability to pay our bills - an issue we faced for a decade play before. But how do we progress and stay within the rules?

Weve had the highest crowd since the 90’s and we’ve had the highest finish in leagues since relegated.

We’ve smashed records because of the investment by the owner. Indeed we can actually buy a player if we want to.

    2) Engagement - NEVER have I seen fans at this club engage with the owner as much!! Christ he’d happily sit with any critics for hours! Please tell me who did that before.

Now in todays world of social media everything is amplified!

Please point me a time when you could arrange a face to face with owner??

    3) I only know that I said 10 games and we have 2 week break coming up. 3 points last Saturday and we’d have gone 19th. We’re not yet cut adrift but a point or 3 against Leeds is needed mainly for fan sanity.

    Evidence enough MK?

  10. XM on result
I'm a little bit disappointed about the result again. It's incredible. We need to change our attitude in some moments. If we don't it is impossible.

    XM on result
We shot 25 times but when you don't score, this is football. If you give them chance to shoot - we have to reflect and everybody is thinking about how we change this situation. It's impossible to lose this game. Another individual mistake led to it.

    XM on the performance
They shoot maybe five times at most? And score. We shoot 25 times and we are the team from the Championship, they are League Two.

    XM on disappointments
It's not only today. First half was some good moments but the last two minutes before their goal, I don't know what happened. We have to think about responsibilities.

    XM reflects
After half-time we tried to give important minutes (to players). I don't find a solution about this situation. We need to have a reflection about what happened in some moments of the game. If you tell me the final score, you wouldn't believe it.

    XM on chances
We had chances to kill the game but (not taking them) it killed us. I think this was a very good performance but in the last third you need something special.

    XM on progress
It's my responsibility: everything. The players have experience and have responsibility. I try to give my best always. After we will see what happens, at Leeds. It's a big challenge. It's a better team than us but 100 per cent we go there to get the points: because we need them and because the players are working very hard every day.

    XM on Fletcher
He is one of the important players but we need more. It's not only him. Everyone needs to give more. We have a responsibility for our fans. It's not only him.

XM on Bambo Diaby and George Byers
It was my decision because I think we have 5/6 defenders and I tried to freshen the squad up.

  11. We’ve put out a good team tonight. First half was decent to be fair - but against poor opposition.

They stepped it up in second and laid off the gas .. we had chances to be fair but so did they in second.

Am struggling to see overall how Munoz going to turn this around tonight .. I’ll sleep on it because I said I’d wait till after international break, but we need an almighty performance Saturday to pull off a draw I think.

P.s. did we turn Nathan Jones down or he us?

  12. 1 hour ago, mkowlthesexynewversion said:

    Can't argue with that Chelters.

We have had more cunning plans than Baldrick and each have been as successful.

It is interesting with the head coaches - I don't think he ever sees the value of stability in that role.

I mean, he is not alone in that thinking, but the churn in that position can only work if there is that strong support structure and a recruitment plan in place.

Xisco in many ways has been thrown a shitty stick. Here is last year's squad, here are some random new signings, get it to work. If you fail goodbye

DC is given dogs abuse for retaining Carlos season 2! Carlos delivered more points, 4 less goals (?) higher league finish and (some) fans hate that season!

  13. To be honest I thought we played ok today - we deserved a point for sure.

BUT - that team played 442, and was essentially Moore’s league 1 team with a few additions.

Did the players get their way or did Xisco relent and try something new?

Had he started with this formation and approach I think we’d have a few points on the board.

Need to see peno back - didn’t get the right view from within ground. Gutted with outcome.

Chansiri out chants have now started -

loud - yes (one section only didn’t really filter throughout )

    Universal - no

Delgado abuse is gaining due to some wayward passes but he’s got something about him.

What will happen in the coming weeks are arguments and fights in the ground I suspect if we don’t start to get some results soon.

  14. Leeds reciprocal offer arrangement is crafty PR.

They have a solid season ticket base and high demand for limited number of seats. Their prices are more expensive than ours if you consider our range average (guess)

Their dependencies on away fans is lower than ours due to parachute payments

It costs over 1000 for a season ticket at Ipswich in one section of their ground. Their top offer never quoted. I think it’s £82 on match day.

Ipswich spend profile means they have an eye on FFP - they also have huge momentum at moment.

Leed’s offer is compounding the wealth gap even more with championship clubs and painting championship owners as the bad people - not that system is geared against championship owners!

Now I think most we can charge Leeds fans is £45 when they come - had we done a deal and matched at £35 that’s estimated 33k less in our coffers when the 3,300 Leeds fans pitch up to us -if we can sort the Lep out and open it up to more Leeds than could mean 50k more to us as a Cub.

No the eyes watered when I bought Leeds ticket and even I was annoyed we couldn’t do a deal, could of been an PR win for DC - but he’ll still be hated so also what’s the point of a one off win - he’s got P&L to protect from FFP auditors!

But the fact is due to train strikes it’s no different, indeed cheaper to watch us at Leeds than Cardiff tmw all in, and had the trains been on Leeds would have been cheaper than Cardiff away.

I understand all that. It seems the damage to football outside the PL cannot be undone.

What bothers me most is the next generation of Wednesday supporter. Live football is a sacred thing to me and thankfully I could find the money to pay and take my kids when it suits. Doesn't mean I will though. How many other kids will miss out on that or be taken somewhere else to experience it?

Next generation argument … fact is we’ve had solid average attendances under DC versus about 25 before he became owner.

indeed you have to go back to the late 90’s to beat 2 of the season under DC stewardship overall season average.

Season ticket for the next generation were £75 in Jan

What that doesn't tell you is his 50% increase on his Donny wages when he joined us and also that he was one of the highest paid L1 managers.

So what's it to be? He would either have been one of the lowest paid or in the average Championship wage band?

Not aimed at you @EBRA, just more at the 'reporting' from the Stir.

    No I agree…

The writing up of it only creates more issues for club at time we need to be pulling together

Anti Chansiri mob are using this as proof DC lied - when their glaring spin in the write up.

  17. New story from stir -

DC wanted to discuss with DM not agent.

The chairman asked me what I was looking for from the football club,” Moore said. “And my reply was that I just wanted a contract that shows that you value me… The chairman was asking for a figure, but I said to him ‘I just know that I want to be the manager of your football club.’ He kept asking for a number... I never wanted to leave the football club, I’ve made that clear.”

“The Star was told that as per conversations with the League Managers Association, Moore was among the three lowest paid managers in the Championship when he arrived at Hillsborough from Doncaster Rovers and saw his salary cut further once relegation to League One was confirmed. It’s claimed a salary of four times his previous contract was requested as a starting point of negotiations only – a figure again as per LMA indications that would still have had him amongst the lowest-paid managers in the Championship and somewhere in the region of the average second tier salary.

  18. Fact is we are struggling to sell out at Cardiff (think is just about done now)

Fact is I think it’s going to go to general sale for Leeds due to price and I don’t think we get 2,900 going! (We struggled at £42 last time)

Fact is most championship ground have the ability to sell 2000 minimum  to away fans - Plymouth the lowest at 1,500 (can go up to 1,850 )

We will not sell out at Plymouth - Wednesday night October.

Point hording and sell on is an issue - BUT you can build your points by making the effort and COL crisis will put people off.

    Excuses will roll in:

    train strike

its not local quickly followed for Leeds that it’s too expensive (principles)

The real reason - were all miserable because it’s a tough start - boo bloody hoo

Holding 50 back seems an ok compromise to be honest given the volume of tickets available at minimum allocations in the league!

I guess am saying this season if performance stay middle of the table TPP isn’t preventing people from going games as we will not sell out as quickly!

Yes I’ve got points that put me in the top tier - I’ve missed 2 away games in 3 seasons - one being Hull this year.
