7 occasions? That’s how many times we’ve been under an embargo in his 8 year tenure, embarrassing incompetence
Thought this was the 4th?

Clutching at straws you don't forget stuff like this
Are you sure ?? DC processes and decision making delays have been proven poor on multiple occasions.

If this is a late payment then could it have just purely been missed as Dooley was leaving?
If I owned a company and employed a COO then I'd be expecting them to be handling this sort of stuff.
My feeling Alistair may not have the authority to sign the cheque or use the company credit card .. poor processes at the club which we know is the reality of D.C. management more than malevolence.

Well it always needed paying and this is old debt.
It really as come to something that the Club is now in a more parlous state financially since the winding up orders
Could be due to King Chulalongkorn Day delaying fund transfers …..
yep am clutching

The reality is did Chansiri find £8.3m plus enough cash to run day to day operations over the last 12 months.
Seriously and I will get slated for this, as and when season tickets go on sale in December any supporters need to grasp this money is totally unsecured and is simply disappearing into a hole.
Most my cash goes into hole nowadays to be honest .. blew £300 watching us play at Watford after beer, travel and tickets

To give some numbers, the last accounts showed a tax debt due less than 1 year of £8.3m. This had moved from long term creditors in the 2021 accounts. Thus I suspect this is VAT as that was permitted to be deferred under the various covid schemes. PAYE generally wasn't.
I don't get the "it will be fine if he pays by January".
For starters we don't know the quantum owed. If he pays it then there is fuck all cash flow for signings anyway 🤷
Not one of the apologists seems concerned that amounts are overdue in the first place. A decently run business as no PAYE debt, no VAT debt etc. Its not good business practice at all to not pay these liabilities when they fall due.
I accept there is no one out there with deep pockets ready to rescue the situation, but more and more the evidence is neither as Chansiri.
The cynical me is now thinking the all rants on social media were engineered to create a fan reaction, to then justify "no more funds" when is it the reality there are "no more funds"
Could it be he’s not paying it and it needs to come from the club cash flow .. I.E. no more extra investment.

It’s depressing .. just hope we get statement from club before Sunday kick off clarify the details of the event .. similar to Luton from 2021.

17.3 in full…
Consequences of a Default Event. Without prejudice to the general position (pursuant to Regulation 44.4) that all registrations must be approved by The League, a Club which is subject to a Default Event shall be subject to a registration embargo such that it shall not be permitted to register any Player with that Club without the prior written consent of The League for the period that the Club is subject to a Default Event.
17.3A Regulation 17.3 will not apply where a Club suffers a Default Event due to the failure to
discharge a COVID PAYE Liability and has entered into a Time to Pay Agreement and is
compliant with the terms of that Time To Pay Agreement. For the avoidance of doubt,
where a Club defaults on the terms of a Time to Pay Agreement, and such default results
in all outstanding amounts becoming due to HMRC immediately, the Club shall remain
subject to a Default Event until such time as the outstanding amounts are paid or included
within any other Time to Pay Agreement.

Another way of looking at the current plight … if we were 11 points clear at the top would any of you be saying that’s it we’ve won this ???
Answer is no!!
Thus 11 points adrift does not equal relegation in October .. like 11 points clear doesn’t equal promotion in October!
all to play for!! UTO!

I know their are loads of opinions on the ticket priority points system but I’m a bit pissed off that this one sold out the day before I could get tickets
I missed hull away as I was in holiday been to cardiff Swansea and Leeds and going to Plymouth but missing out tomorrow 😡😡
Yes I probably could have bought tickets off people that were selling on but that defeats the reason for TPP
Anyway will watch from home 🙌🙌🙌 and still looking forward to it might start on the cans from 9 o clock just to make the experience of travelling 😂😂😂
UTO
Tickets came available from office late last night and this morning ..

Very Sad news .. recall his posts from a long time ago and when he set up the other site.
-
Recognise the face.
Thoughts with all who know him and Sam himself as he faces this huge challenge! Pull through lad!

I heard the human shield comment on the radio and am not shocked it’s been repeated over on stalk
It’s an incredibly insensitive jibe given occurrences in ME at the moment.
However, it may also of been the Chansiri family wanting to be there for him and show solidarity that they are still in fact supporting the club and not going to let it die!
It was the most Wednesday thing ever for the chants for him to go were minimal - We are one the most easily satisfied fan bases and thus most loyal in the world of football!
Whilst the other caller wasn’t happy with D.C. responses the fact he was willing to talk to him speaks volumes in my opinion - and whilst the lad who spoke is rightfully so entitled to his opinion am I to think his was the right one!
Anyway Rooney left D.C., Rohl spotted in London lots going off!!
Best thing I heard yesterday was someone saying .. what’s worse than watching a Darren Moore team.. watching 2 of them lol.

Biggs, Miller, Staton & Crann or pushing the Warnock narrative and it’s doing my head in!
Apparently only that prick can save us.. sod off!

If you were drowning in a river and Warnock was about to throw you a life jacket, would you shout to him to stick it up his arse and happily drown instead?
Maybe lol
I foolishly backed Bruce despite my reservations and was ultimately proven wrong to do so.
Plenty of managers out their to go for!

Warnock comes in and I’ll happily join the anti Chansiri crowd ..

Watford away when the Munoz revolution kicks in and we go on a 15 game unbeaten run - 100% your going

Seen the update from the lads football chat on stalk .. am wondering if it’s been doctored by them as a joke in their own chat and it’s gone public? Because no one’s come forward from Sunderland fan base as the ones who took the photo.
May explain a few things

Not as straightforward as it seems…… Mate’s been to Snig Hill this morning (for some reason wouldn’t take his statement at Ecco) & given a statement…….. Was thanked for clearing some things up but was told it’s unlikely he’d be needed again!
Agree something is off.. I’ve this nasty feeling this is from another game at another time explaining the oddities with it all.
It feels like there something else going off and this photo been around for longer than Friday night.

People that know the lads personally and have some sort of issues with them?
Who’s our new OT member then? What’s their name on there?
Irrespective of whether it’s fake or not the upset that’ll have been caused to Bradley’s family will still be the same
Seriously??
The “new poster” is well known and respected by many!

It’s awful but some serious debate about the image itself.
People saying the lads refute it but they were their last night.
A well known Wednesday fan as pointed out a bloke (not the lads) in photo wasn’t actually at the game
It’s an awfully clear image on a phone taken from one assume the Lep end.
Some arguing it looks too light (ie sunlight) and the some in people look dressed for winter not last night
SYP are dealing with it - best not to hang them out to dry just yet.

So we need a buyer who can as I understand it do the following:
Hire a top class manager
Provide transfer budget to suit said manager
Buy young players who will be worth 5+ million in 2 years so we can sell them
Buy experienced players focussed on success only and not a pay day
Lower cost of entry to WBA levels from season 2 whilst invoking the lower tiers of current one from takeover
Overhaul facilities throughout the ground
Upgrade the training ground
Gain promotion within 3 years of taking over just because of FFP
No doubt I’ll now be told of course not … just want the club to be run well …
.
Under an embargo?

Let me be clear … my concern are no less than any other on this forum .. for me I am leaving it to 1pm tmw before I declare serious issues.
the stories being leaked and built upon by journo, podcasts, protest groups etc .. are self perpetuating and self serving for them! Clicks =Cash
now by 1pm tmw of the club are still stum I’ll happily declare huge problems .. but right now am going to look at rational non alarmist reason to why late payment maybe happening.
