Tank_Owl2,0
Having a (one) centre half for the Christmas fixtures will be an improvement on last season! It’ll be interesting to see what DM does when the transfer window opens. There’s quite some time and games to go before then but previously the Jan transfer window has been a time to add a bit of depth and in the mind the gap season bring in some additional quality. As he’s said already that might be tricky with the WC being so close to the window. If we lose McGuinness, which is possible if he keeps playing like he is we will need a replacement

His return, if it goes well, will be like a new signing.

Tank_Owl2,0
I agree Owling he could be. It will be great to have Famewo back but if history tells us anything, the players that struggle with injuries at the start of the season rarely play many games until the following season. However for the fleeting period we saw him he looked decent. Fingers crossed and the talk of us signing McGuinness are true. Otherwise unless we suffer a glut of injuries between now and Jan I think it will be steady as you go.

Tank_Owl2,0
Need another centre half then. As Ive said before Im worried we might lose McGuinness the way hes playing - unless we sign him of course.
Tylluan
Couple of months makes it the end of January, if all goes to plan, so bringing in another centre half might mean just a wasted loan move and wage. HoylandOwl
Moore on the missing players yesterday who would have been part of the match day squad: “Greggers had a bit of tonsillitis and went down, Jack Hunt and Marvin Johnson ran into each other yesterday and he ended up with a bit of a dead leg, and then Mallik limped out with a little bit of a calf injury - we’re not sure what it is."
