Tylluan Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Both games against them will be cold wet midweek games in November and January. Leeds will be a Friday night for Sky's Leeds Live game Love in. First game will be Burnley away and on Sky. Quote
Hirstys 12th Pint Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Whatever they are expect a fair amount to be moved what with the new extended number of live Championship games. Quote
JBO Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Fixture changes for games up to end of September to be announced within a week of fixtures released. Fixture changes for games up to FA Cup 3rd round weekend (11th Jan) to be announced before season starts All games in all 3 divisions will be available live on the opening weekend with Championship expected to be 2 on Friday night, 8 on Saturday either 12.30, 3 or 5.30 and 2 on Sunday 12.30 1 Quote
HoylandOwl Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Who do you want/expect we get for : First game: Anyone at home. Boxing Day: DemBlayards at home Easter: Anyone away Last game: Anyone at home. Quote
Lee Posted June 21 Posted June 21 I'd go for a winnable game away first up, be great to be 6 pts after 2 games, sets the tone for a good tilt at top 6. Boxing Day, yes Terry them at home. Busy Easter, just keep picking up points. Last home game edging Leeds out of play offs with us securing autos. A bit Carlsberg but hey ho 1 Quote
owl71 Posted June 21 Posted June 21 First game will be something like Swansea away. The Steel City derbies will be November and February, or similar. No way do SYP want that when there’s decent weather and other things going on. Boxing Day, please just a home game. Tired of long drives to Middlesbrough/Coventry etc. Easter games will be something vaguely derbyish but not really, Stole and Burnley or whatever. Last game, home against someone likely to be mid table and unarsed…Watford probably perfect. Quote

mkowl Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I think the new TV deal is going to take some of the lower IQ fans by surprise Interesting given there is no 3pm blackout the first weekend all the Championship games not other wise moved are the 12.30pm slot Quote
mkowl Posted June 26 Posted June 26 League 1 is given the 5.30pm slot for all games aside the Dingles League 2 sticks with the 3pm slot - aside from Chesterfield All available on the Sky Streaming new service Quote
HoylandOwl Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Well, I’ll miss L**ds (h) ….. the last time IIRC we played Leeds on August bank holiday weekend was the game that Matias scored that wonder goal….. I wasn’t around for that either…. I was in the middle of Lincolnshire at a British Superbike race weekend…. That’s where I’ll be this August bank holiday weekend. Can we have another wonderthunderbastard again please?! Quote
Hirstys 12th Pint Posted June 26 Posted June 26 The fixture Computer has been very kind to me. With Holidays & Festivals I could have missed 5 Saturday games. The five we are either away, an International break or moved to the Sunday (first game). Quote

Same here, away at Coventry when I'm away the first weekend in October and following weekend its internationals. Bit worried about home game against pigs on 15th March though as I go away on Sunday 16th, following weekend is internationals. When we play away against pigs in November Barnsley play Rotherham same day so very likely one of games will get moved. Quote
mkowl Posted June 26 Posted June 26 5 Championship games are going to be moved every weekend out of 12. Playing Saturday 3pm will be the minority scenario over the course of the season Quote

I just think they may simply do multi choice at one kick off time Sky have the Saturday teatime slot already for the EPL Really not sure Sunday evening will appeal to the broadcasters, they have been sticking the women's football there so clearly don't care Quote
Tank_Owl2,0 Posted June 26 Posted June 26 (edited) I think I would have taken those opening fixtures if I was DR, ok L**ds will be fancied but as opening fixtures go they are hopefully a reasonable opportunity to get some points on the board. Surely can’t be any worse than last season, can it! Edited June 26 by Tank_Owl2,0 Quote
Andyben Posted June 26 Posted June 26 I think it'll be a good time to play Leeds. Look at their squad and how much turnover there'll have to cope with, they're unlikely to be settled 3 Quote
