  1. What about if him and Gregory do it at the Bramall Lane end after we've knocked them out of the FA Cup?
  2. Agree with the last two posts. It's a 50/50 appointment. The lack of management experience is not really an issue for me. If he gets two years to stamp his authority on the team (and we see some semblance of a style of play in the meantime, even if results aren't great) I'll take that.
  3. Signed Mark Taylor at the same time. Think he played even less
  4. Agree about Bernard and think Vasquez was unlucky not to keep his place. Dawson has improved, but he's not good enough for the Championship
  5. Not going to create much without Bannan and Windass. Byers struggling with the step up so far. Buckley looks a bit too lightweight, but could be a player there. Next three games are winnable, need at least 5 points
  6. And Moore still couldn't score against us even though he knew the team inside out
  7. Appreciate I'll be in the minority, but think if circumstances had been different Pulis could've done a decent job. Eustace and Munoz could've had unlimited transfer funds and still been shite
  8. Ah yes, that tactical genius. Better to stick with the new signings who have all started brilliantly then?
  9. Hoping he'll go 3-5-2 with at least 7 or 8 of last years regulars and James in at LWB.
  10. Angus McCoatup seems to be upsetting the right people on owlstalk. Probably be banned by the morning
  11. Again no signs of improvement. Formation, team selection and substitutions have no logic. Keeper's had a decent game, one of Bakinson's better games. Other than that hard to see the positives.
  12. He can do himself and the players a massive favour by sacking the manager. Difficult to see who he could bring in that would be as clueless as Xisco
  13. Couple of early chances and after that we've been garbage. He's so out of his depth
  14. Was worried we'd been linked with him for a minute
  15. 90 Minutes tipped us for the title as well, Walker being their main reason adding to a quality squad. How Andy Pearce was considered an upgrade on Pearson I'll never understand
  16. There's being creative and there's taking the piss. My seat on the North was 485 quid to renew in January (which I did) and the same seat was 735 quid just before the start of the season. £735 for a Championship relegation battle, really? Another minor point. It was £4 a pint last season. It went up to £4.50 March/April time and is now a fiver. Personally I'm not bothered, but people who sit near me will start drinking somewhere instead of the ground where there's a better choice for the price
  17. As much as I wasn't Moore's biggest fan, had we played the last 4 league games with his 3-5-2 and most of last years starting XI would we be better off pointwise? I think probably, but long term it would still have been a relegation battle. Ripping it up and starting again wasn't the answer. Just hope today's formation and lineup was a realisation for Xisco despite the result
  18. I'd be happy with that to be fair, but with Gregory in for Windass
  19. Gregory scored with his only real chance and had little support from midfield. Delgado wasn't a threat, but I thought he showed a few glimpses of what he might be capable of once he adapts. Musaba offered nothing? Looks like he's got skill and pace and totally different to anything we've seen for years based on tonight. Fletcher looks more mobile and more physical than Smith.
